10 Year Anniversary Tour Stops in Hometown with Ryman Auditorium Shows

Truly a product of their raising, THE CADILLAC THREE returned to their hometown of Nashville for a two-night stint at the Ryman Auditorium exuding the same fervor of their youth. Singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason and lap-steel guitarist Kelby Ray have been performing together since their high school days and officially celebrate a decade as TC3 with their 10th Anniversary Tour, which traverses the globe through December. Last night the always-amplified trio launched with signature “I’m Southern” as “Tennessee Mojo,” “Bury Me In My Boots,” American Slang,” “The Jam” and more followed. The palpable energy from their instinctive sonic tendencies and chart-topping songwriting rolled through a myriad of jams incorporating Country, Rock and Funk fusion.

“We’re grateful to be here with you all tonight in our hometown of Nashville, Tennessee! This past year has been hard on fans, families and independent venues so we’ve tried to help highlight these special rooms where so many memories – and for some of you, a few babies – are made,” joked Jaren. “It’s been a hell of ride with Neil and Kelby, but being back at the Ryman to play you all songs from over a decade of life is pretty badass!”

Last night’s (9/1) set kicked off with Hey Steve and Boy Named Banjo will heat up the crowd tonight (9/2). Also making a debut, TC3’s collaboration with Flytes Brewhouse on Country Buzz Beer. “I discovered Flytes on a motorcycle ride one day and quickly became a fan,” recounts Kelby. “Fast forward about a year and it turns out, owners John and Trish Nelson are actually fans of ours too so we all thought it would be pretty cool to create something. RISING COUNTRY BAND BEXAR RELEASES MAJOR LABEL DEBUT EP PRONOUNCED BEAR, OUT NOW

When hearing of Warner Music Nashville’s rising band BEXAR, you might stop and ask yourself, “is it bex-ar? Where does the “x” come from?” Well, BEXAR has arrived with their major label debut EP to set the record straight: it’s Pronounced BEAR (LISTEN HERE). An ode to the phonetic spelling of the band’s name, which originates from lead vocalist Chris Ryan’s home turf of Bexar County, TX, the six-track EP was produced by award-winning producers Ross Copperman and Luke Laird and showcases the band’s fresh and expressive sound, with all tracks co-written by at least one band member.

Surprise Guest Eric Church Joins McBryde on Stage for a
Special Rendition of Allman Brothers Band’s “Midnight Rider”

This Town Talks Tour Continues Through January 2022

Four-time GRAMMY nominee Ashley McBryde launched her sold out three-night headlining debut at the historic Ryman Auditorium Thursday, Aug. 26, opening a cappella with never-released-or-recorded rollicking hymnal “Ain’t Enough Water,” before her band Deadhorse kicked in for what followed: a full-throttle, fist-pumping hour-and-half set.

“It’s a beautiful night for country music,” McBryde said, beaming. “Here’s what you’re gonna experience: some country songs, some rock songs; some happy ones, maybe some sad ones; some slow ones, some fast ones and some half-ass ones,” the Arkansas-native noted after “El Dorado.” “Let’s get on with it!”

As the crowd rejoiced alongside her, she launched into “American Scandal” from her Warner Music Nashville debut album Girl Going Nowhere, and the at-capacity crowd was reminded why Billboard frequently uses the word “authentic” when describing the singer/songwriter and expert storyteller.

Only six songs in, she teed up her GRAMMY nominated “Girl Goin’ Nowhere,” forced to take a few steps back from her microphone throughout the performance to take in the crowd’s reaction to her line “I hear the crowd,” eventually composing herself before continuing.

The night’s opening act Lainey Wilson, an up-and-comer with Top 5 hit “Things A Man Oughta Know,” also returned to the stage joining McBryde on the Linda Ronstadt/The Everly Brothers’ “When Will I Be Loved.” McBryde sharing prior to their collaboration, “How about a nice round of applause for our sister, we’re so proud to have her!”

Occasionally pausing to survey and absorb the energy of the audience, McBryde shared, “Here’s one of my other favorite reasons to love country music, live music period. For as long as I stand here, as long as Lainey stands here, as long as you stand or sit here, nothing else gets to matter. For 90 minutes, I’ve got no problems. There’s nothing else in this world that can accomplish not giving a shit that doesn’t come in a bottle or a pill. Country music, it only elevates. So, if you had a great day today, we’re so happy you chose us to celebrate with, and if you had a shit day today, you leave the rest of that to us.”

And with the crowd celebrating McBryde in full control, she then surprised the audience with a special guest, simply introducing him saying: “Eric F*cking Church.”

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year was met with thunderous applause before the pair closed out the set with a performance of the Allman Brothers Band’s classic, “Midnight Rider,” creating a full-circle moment from early in McBryde’s career when Church invited her onstage at a Chicago tour stop in 2017 to perform the emotive, fan-favorite “Bible and a .44” together.

As that song followed, Church watched on from side stage with pride.

McBryde ended night one at the Ryman with the bluesy Girl Going Nowhere closer, “Home Sweet Highway,” a fitting encore closer as McBryde and her band celebrate being back out on the road after being away from “home” for more than 15 months.

“And that’s the show,” McBryde, still beaming. “This is the perfect time to remind you: you didn’t show up to the Ryman Auditorium tonight because we were going to be here, we showed up tonight because you were going to be here.”

FIRST SINGLE  “UNEXPECTED SONG” RELEASED TODAY

Entertainment icon Marie Osmond covers a multitude of styles from opera to Broadway to timeless classics on her upcoming Unexpected album. Available Dec. 10 via Oliveme LLC and BFD/The Orchard, the album harkens to an era where music was live with incredible orchestras and conductors. People.com revealed the album title and artwork for Unexpected, while Playbill.com premiered the first listen to Osmond’s rendition of “Unexpected Song.” “I was captivated by the melody on first hearing this song — though I was not then entirely familiar yet with the musical Song and Dance. The title alone was intriguing and beckoned my interest,” shared Osmond.

With theatrical credits that include Anna Leonowens in the Broadway production of The King and I, Osmond performs additional numbers from Into the Woods, West Side Story, The Sound of Music and more on Unexpected. Osmond, who has spent 20 years of her five-decade career in opera training, is accompanied by The Prague Symphony Orchestra on the album, which also features songs in Italian, French and Czech.

The followup to Osmond’s Top 10 Billboard Country album, Music is Medicine, Unexpected is dedicated to Osmond’s father who encouraged his daughter to follow her passion and sing every style of music she loved. These recordings are also a permanent tribute and personal thank you from Osmond to all of her fans who have requested them over the years.

Osmond is a multiple gold and platinum-selling artist and CMA winner, garnering numerous Billboard chart-topping singles and albums and three New York Times Bestselling books. She has entertained millions throughout the world through television, radio, film, literature, live concerts and Broadway.

DAVID NAIL HITS THE ROAD FOR THE BOOTHEEL 2021 TOUR

Country hit-maker David Nail announced today that he will be hitting the road this Fall for the Bootheel 2021 Tour. Kicking off in Jewett, Ohio on August 27, the country star will play through the Fall across the United States with stops from Michigan to Arizona and Oklahoma to Colorado. Rolling Stone lauds Nail as “one of country’s most powerful and distinct voices” which will be on full display as he brings his GRAMMY-nominated showmanship to stages across the country. The tour, named after the “bootheel” of Missouri where Nail’s hometown of Kennett is located, is a continuation of his Bootheel recording project launched with last year’s Bootheel 2020 EP. “The past two years have been filled with reflection and melancholy for me. I lost my grandfather this year and we haven’t been able to play as many shows as we’d like to be. At the same time, my wife and I had a baby girl last year and have been able to watch all three of our kids growing up before our eyes. Bootheel is an ongoing project about roots, family, life and love. We’re excited to hit the road hard again and continue the Bootheel storyline this Fall,” says David Nail.

Joining Nail on select dates will be country-riser Karissa Ella. Karissa’s energetic live performances at places like the ACM-nominated Dusty Armadillo along with her breathtaking vocals attract audiences of all ages. Her new single, “Crackin’ Cold Ones” comes out on Friday, August 27.
