SUPERSTARS DAN + SHAY ANNOUNCE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM GOOD THINGS AVAILABLE AUGUST 13

Three years after the self-titled album that catapulted the duo into new heights of their career, country mega-stars and pop-crossover phenomena Dan + Shay are back to announce their brand new album Good Things, available everywhere on August 13 (PRE-ORDER HERE).
The highly anticipated LP features 12 imaginatively crafted songs with breathtaking production helmed by the duo’s Dan Smyers, including the newly available title track (LISTEN HERE). “Good Things” provides a glimpse into what fans can expect from the unreleased collection of music. With no shortage of surprises in store, Dan + Shay have also released the track’s accompanying music video (WATCH HERE), directed by frequent collaborator Patrick Tracy.
One month before it is even fully out to the world, Good Things is already proving to be another record-breaking album. Dan + Shay shattered ceilings with multi-week No.1 “10,000 Hours” featuring Justin Bieber, the album’s first single released in October 2019. The 4x Platinum hit had the biggest first-week streaming total in country music history and was the fastest country song to reach one million U.S. track equivalents in 2019. The worldwide smash spent 21 weeks at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart (5th longest run in chart history) and landed the duo their third GRAMMY Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, making them the first artist to do so 3x consecutively since the category’s inception. Dan + Shay followed with Platinum-certified “I Should Probably Go To Bed,” which quickly became their fifth consecutive and eighth career No.1, has surpassed 300 million global streams and has garnered over 1.5 million track equivalents. Their current single, “Glad You Exist,” recently became RIAA Gold-certified and has accumulated 800,000 track equivalents so far.
Good Things follows in the massive footsteps of Dan + Shay, the duo’s third album that skyrocketed them into superstardom. The Platinum-certified record features global hit “Tequila” (6x Platinum and more than 1.2 billion global streams), multi-format hit “Speechless” (5x Platinum and more than 1.1 billion global streams), and No.1 country song “All To Myself” (2x Platinum). The album has aided in countless wins and honors including GRAMMY, CMA, ACM, CMT, American Music, Billboard and iHeartRadio Music Awards, among others. It also added to the duo’s nearly eight billion streams globally, 39 RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications and eight No.1 singles at country radio.
Their massive headlining Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour will resume this fall with new 2021 dates. The 30-stop explosive tour includes a night at the famed Madison Square Garden in NY, NY and will feature Atlantic Records’ The Band Camino and labelmate Ingrid Andress. The (Arena) Tour had major success when it kicked off in March 2020, selling out three consecutive shows, including two back-to-back in Nashville, TN. Following the sell-outs, The Tennessean stated, “Every song was greeted like a single by the packed house.”

LEE GREENWOOD + HOME FREE WIN 2021 TELLY AWARD

‘MOST VIRAL VIDEO’ WITH OVER 200 MILLION VIEWS OF “GOD BLESS THE USA” THROUGH ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

Even as COVID-19 had the music business stalled, America’s well-known patriot LEE GREENWOOD, award-winning vocal group HOME FREE, and members of the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE BAND collaborated virtually to create a new version of “God Bless The USA,” which was

written by Greenwood in the early 80s. This special collaboration was released during July 4th weekend in 2020 and as we recently celebrated the one-year anniversary with over 200 million views through all social media platforms, the performers are also celebrating the 2021 Telly Award win for “Most Viral Video”.

“God Bless The USA is timeless and five times a year during President’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, 9/11, and Veterans Day I get requests to do events and perform it,” says Greenwood. “This version just happens to be special because it includes the US Air Force Band and was arranged and put together by Home Free, who are an amazing vocal group. I have been inundated with questions about this version and how it came together as people just love the feel of it. Now to win an award and know that almost one-third of our entire US population has heard this version is astounding to me.”

“Working with Lee Greenwood on such an iconic song was amazing and intimidating, at the same time. First off, we didn’t know how to top the original. Secondly, we were in a pandemic situation with members of the group in different states. Then add in the US Air Force Band. All of us had chill bumps on the final outcome that we all immediately were in agreement to make a video,” says Home Free’s Austin Brown. “How could we make a video in so many places was the first thought. Then our team was able to make it all happen and we were thrilled to release it in time for July 4 of last year. It was an honor to be part of this creative work and what an honor now to win a Telly Award for ‘Most Viral Video’ with over 200 million views across all social platforms.”

Founded in 1979, The Telly Awards honor excellence in local, regional, and cable television commercials as well as non-broadcast video and television programming. With the recent evolution and rise of digital video (web series, VR, 360 and beyond), the Telly Awards today also reflects and celebrates this exciting new era of the moving image on and offline. The Telly Awards annually receive over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, showcasing the best work created within television and across video, for all screens.

ABOUT LEE GREENWOOD:
Throughout his expansive career, international country music icon Lee Greenwood has earned multiple CMA and ACM Awards, a Grammy Award for Top Male Vocal Performance on “I.O.U,” in 1985, and a multitude of other prestigious awards nominations. His stand-out hit “God Bless the U.S.A.” has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001, and 2003), giving it the distinction of being the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It reached the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart shortly after 9/11. Country Pop Singer-Songwriter Levi Hummon Teams With Walker Hayes On New Track “Paying For It”

In Levi Hummon’s newly-released track, “Paying For It,” this singer-songwriter melds a bluesy, pop-country groove with lyrics shot through with realism, conveying that oftentimes the aftermath of a fizzled romance can be as costly as a relationship itself.
Joining Hummon on the new single is “Fancy Like” hitmaker Walker Hayes (courtesy of Monument Records), also a co-writer on the track alongside Hummon and writer/producer Eric Arjes.
“I’m so excited to partner up with Walker on a song,” Hummon says. “I’ve been a fan of his for a long time and this is actually the first song we ever wrote together. I brought in the title and he really did his Walker thing to it. I think this song is really special and I’m excited for the world to hear it. Also, big shout out to my producer Eric Arjes for killin’ it on this one.”
Nashville native and Reservoir-signed writer Hummon was raised in Music City’s songwriting community, and like many gifted songwriters, he’s attuned to the everyday details that make for a solid song idea. Though “Paying For It” includes withering lines such as “feels like we got divorced and I had a real cheap lawyer,” the song actually finds its origin in a comment from Hummon’s girlfriend.
“The idea behind the song is actually based on a funny conversation with my girlfriend,” Hummon shares. “She chipped her tooth the day I was heading to my co-write and said to ‘go write a song that can pay for this’… and the title paying for it hit me. I obviously turned it into a different story, but that title is definitely because of her.”
“Paying For It” releases today via F2 Entertainment/The Orchard and is available on all digital streaming platforms. The song follows the Spring release of Hummon’s two-part 36/86 project.
About Levi Hummon
Levi Hummon made his imprint on the Nashville community long before he realized the extent of his craft. Born and raised in Music City, Hummon was surrounded by music greats. A product of his environment, he was named one of Entertainment Weekly’s 5 Artists Breaking Now and Rolling Stone Country’s ‘One to Watch.’ According to Taste of Country Hummon’s latest EP, Patient, “proves his singer-songwriter mark will be distinct” and CMT praises that the songs feature “lyrical content chock full of vulnerability and heart.” Hummon spent the end of 2019 on tour with acts such as Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum. With recent features in Billboard and Forbes and over 100 million on-demand streams, Hummon is excited to continue releasing music.
About Walker Hayes
Monument Records recording artist, Walker Hayes, is a singer/songwriter originally from Mobile, Alabama. His recent EP Country Stuff features viral hit “Fancy Like” which sat at the top of the iTunes country songs chart for three weeks after peaking at #1 all genre after release. The song was the top selling country song on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart for three weeks after release, and top 5 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
Hayes’ debut album, boom, co-produced by multi-GRAMMY Award winning producer and songwriter Shane McAnally, includes the RIAA certified, Double-Platinum, Top 10 hit “You Broke Up With Me,” and his music, including singles “90s Country” and “Don’t Let Her,” has gone on to be streamed over a half billion times. As the Washington Post stated, “Hayes has broken into the mainstream by sounding different. He has performed to national audiences on Good Morning America and The Today Show and joined the likes of Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion on tour.

MIDLAND DEBUTS THE LAST RESORT

Five-Song Collection Available Now: https://Midland.lnk.to/TheLastResortPR

THE LAST RESORT Fall Tour Launches October 7 Following European Run

MIDLAND’s Mark Wystrach, Cam Duddy, and Jess Carson like their music straight-up. Hardcore country, the kind you find in forgotten bars in Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Texas, Bakersfield, Reno, wherever the neon’s buzzing, but not quite dead. The Grammy®-nominated trio brings a resurgence of their thick harmonies, sad melodies, tart lyrics and steel guitar with THE LAST RESORT available now via Big Machine Records: https://Midland.lnk.to/TheLastResortPR.
When “Drinkin’ Problem” hit, time melted. With an unapologetic profession of bar-fly reality, the steel wells up, Wystrach’s voice lags as he walks listeners through the dissolving world of “living on the rocks.” Reality was not one, but two Grammy® nominations for the unlikely trio who got together at a mutual friend’s Montana wedding. Their vocal chemistry and overlapping musical influences forged an alliance that’s created an oasis of Wurlitzer country for icehouses, taverns, beer joints, out of the way honky-tonks and other hole in the walls. Strung out on Gary Stewart, Midland represented a time in country music marked by the Dukes of Hazard, Clint Eastwood, Smokey & the Bandit, Trans-Ams, 18-wheelers, oil rigs, two lane highways, cheap cigarettes, mezcal worms and falling in love for the night. Not much has changed as the trio has changed 21st Century country for the post-Urban Cowboy set.. It’s not fancy, but it’s got style. Cool, kicked back, chilled out, real without trying, they understand it’s now or never for this kind of country.
So, this is THE LAST RESORT, a place that never forgets. Pour yourself a tall one, crack a longneck and settle in. It’s one of those kinds of nights… or mornings after.

Midland isn’t kidding about the past. They love Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Gary Stewart, Willie Nelson, the Hanks – Williams, Thompson and Snow, Buck Owens, George Jones, Emmylou, Dolly, Loretta, Tammy, Porter Wagoner, Conway Twitty, Mickey Gilley, Glen Campbell, Johnny Lee. But it’s not just vintage vinyl and 8-tracks, the threesome puts their music where their hearts are. They’ve taken their songs into the Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas… brought their sweat- slinging live shows to Billy Bob’s, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo… reanimated North Hollywood’s legendary Palomino Club… put down roots in Dripping Springs and spent time around the Country Music Hall of Fame. Unfiltered, full-tilt, they want their country 120 proof. Whether it’s a cheating song, a heartbreak ballad or a shoot-out-the-lights romper, they savor the notion and the emotions with a gusto unseen for decades and THE LAST RESORT is all about it.

THE LAST RESORT is all about it. Bits of Laurel Canyon, vintage Vegas, cowboy bars, Okie shuffles, Shelter Records, buckle-polishing and boots moving tip-to-tip across a sawdust floor, it’s all here. Put it on, turn down the lights and melt into the music/songs.

THE LAST RESORT TRACK LISTING:
1. “And Then Some” (Jess Carson, Cameron Duddy, Mark Wystrach, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne)
2. “Sunrise Tells The Story” (Jess Carson, Jessi Alexander, Aaron Raitiere)
3. “Two To Two Step” (Jess Carson, Cameron Duddy, Mark Wystrach, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne)
4. “Take Her Off Your Hands” (Jess Carson, Cameron Duddy, Mark Wystrach, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne)
5. “Adios Cowboy” (Jess Carson, Cameron Duddy, Mark Wystrach, Marv Green, JT Harding)

CHARLIE WORSHAM’S NEW EP SUGARCANE OUT NOW

Special Release Show and Livestream Confirmed July 22 at Ole Red Nashville

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Charlie Worsham’s anticipated new EP, Sugarcane, is out today via Warner Music Nashville. Stream/purchase HERE.
Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town), Sugarcane is an emotional homecoming for Worsham. What began as personal reflections from a daily writing exercise, grew into something much more universal—six new songs that celebrate the love, perseverance, struggle and joy experienced through life and the people who are there through it all.
Recent critical acclaim for Sugarcane…
“compelling from the first note”—Billboard
“Sugarcane brilliantly showcases Worsham’s inventiveness as a songwriter, his radiant genius as a guitarist, and his evocative skills as a vocalist”—No Depression
“With each song, the artist introduces another face of both his artistry and personal life. With poignant intentionality, he ruminates on what is gained from times of struggle and all the many ways to perceive the idea of success in one’s life.”—American Songwriter
“Super powerful…Brilliance all around.”—MusicRow
“The most talented musician in the genre…as well as being a gifted vocalist and songwriter, Worsham is also a jaw-dropping musician and he’s widely respected for his incredible talents.”—Entertainment Focus
“a beloved triple threat in Music City and beyond”—Sounds Like Nashville
“one of the most talented people in all of Nashville”—Whiskey Riff
“one of the finest in the business…a simple and elegant collection of songs that absolutely showcases the quality within.”—Rock N’ Load Magazine
In celebration of the new music, Worsham will perform a special EP release show at Ole Red Nashville next Thursday, July 22 at 8:30pm CT, which will also be simultaneously livestreamed across Worsham, Ole Red and WSM Radio’s respective YouTube and Facebook pages.
Sugarcane follows Worsham’s 2017 album, Beginning of Things, and furthers his reputation as an artist with “undeniable musical talent” (NPR Music). Released to overwhelming critical acclaim, Beginning of Things landed on several “Best of 2017” lists including Rolling Stone, Variety, PopMatters, Nashville Scene and Vulture, who praised, “a multifaceted talent—a warm, thinking singer, hook writer, and picker—and one of the most well-regarded underdogs in Nashville.” Moreover, The Wall Street Journal proclaimed, “arguably the most blatantly talented multi-threat younger man in country music…a fiery guitar picker; a rangy, affecting song interpreter as a vocalist; and a witty yet compassionate collaborating songwriter” and American Songwriter declared, “one of country’s most formidable dark horses, a quiet contender worthy of the attention and airplay claimed by his less cerebral contemporaries.”
Since the release of his 2013 debut, Rubberband, Worsham has established himself as one of Nashville’s most beloved and well-respected artists. In addition to his own music, he’s a frequent collaborator including work with Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Brandy Clark, Luke Combs, Vince Gill, Kacey Musgraves, Marty Stuart, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban among several others. He also earned a nomination for Specialty Instrument Player of the Year at the 55th ACM Awards and has toured extensively across the world including numerous shows performing as of part of Old Crow Medicine Show as well as dates with Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Kenny Rogers, Lee Ann Womack, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

SCOTTY McCREERY READIES FANS FOR NEW ALBUM WITH NEW SONG “WHY YOU GOTTA BE LIKE THAT”

North Carolina Native’s You Time Tour Continues Through Fall 2021

In between more than 130 online performances throughout 2020, Scotty McCreery has been writing songs and in the studio working on his highly anticipated fifth studio album coming out later this year. The multi-Platinum selling artist readies his fans for more new music on the way with today’s release of “Why You Gotta Be Like That,” along with a special visualizer video. Listen to the song HERE and watch the visualizer HERE. “Why You Gotta Be Like That” was written by McCreery, James McNair, and Jordan Schmidt.

“My wife Gabi and I had a date night the evening before I wrote ‘Why You Gotta Be Like That’ with James and Jordan. She came downstairs looking gorgeous as usual, and well…the song tells the rest of the story,” said McCreery with a smile. “Writing with James and Jordan is always so much fun, and I think that genuine feeling comes through in the song as well.”

“Why You Gotta Be Like That” follows McCreery’s current single “You Time,” the first from his upcoming new album which he plans to put out in the Fall. Written by McCreery, Rogers and Eshuis, “You Time” is rising steadily, currently in the Top 15 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck Country Singles Chart.

McCreery met one of his bucket list goals recently when he performed in Anchorage, Alaska in June as the headliner of the Backyard Country BBQ. With that concert, he has now visited and performed in all 50 states. The Alaska show was part of his previously announced “You Time Tour” which kicked off that month and will continue into the Fall.
