RYAN JEWEL TAPS BARREL FULL OF WHISKEY AS SOPHOMORE ALBUM ARRIVING JUNE 26

Rising singer/songwriter Ryan Jewel announces his sophomore full-length album BARREL FULL OF WHISKEY, arriving June 26. Produced by ACM Award-winning multi-instrumentalist and longtime friend IIya Toshinskiy, the project explores themes of love, redemption, heartbreak, resilience and small-town life through Ryan’s signature rich, buttery baritone. Balancing whiskey-soaked anthems with reflective storytelling, the 12-track collection feels equally at home on backroad drives, late-night barstools and packed-out stages.

“Whiskey has a complex flavor profile. It’s made up of a few ingredients, but once it sits in the barrel, it becomes something layered with depth, character and its own identity. That’s how this album feels to me,” shares Ryan. “I’ve grown a lot as an artist and I feel like these songs are a true reflection of who I am now because I’ve lived every single one of them. I’m incredibly proud of this album and can’t wait for people to hear it.”

This Friday (5/22), Ryan taps the boot-stompin’ title track, penned by Brian Kelley, James McNair, and Canaan Smith, as a final preview of the album. “Barrel Full of Whiskey” leans into its vivid, larger-than-life storytelling where whiskey becomes both the downfall and the rescue. The song delivers a surreal, high-energy journey through chaos and temptation, capturing the spirit of the record: wild moments, honest reflection and the pull between getting lost and finding your way back. “Barrel Full Of Whiskey” follows previously released songs “Ain’t Going Nowhere,” “Live That Long,” and his latest single “Sinners Apply Within.”

“’Barrel Full of Whiskey’ is country to the bone. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever done before and that’s what makes it so fun for me to perform,” added Ryan. “What I love about it is how visual it is. It’s not just a song you hear – it’s a story you can see playing out.”

With songs that feel both timeless and lived-in, Ryan’s voice commands attention with equal parts grit and grace – powerful enough to fill a room, yet intimate enough to feel deeply personal. BARREL FULL OF WHISKEY showcases that range across every track, anchored by the timeless sounds of the genre, with steel guitar, banjo and fiddle on full display.

ABOUT RYAN JEWEL
Born and raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Ryan first picked up a guitar in high school and quietly began honing the voice that would become his calling. While earning a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology at Clemson University, he started playing tailgates, fraternity parties and local bars to make extra money – but it didn’t take long for music to prove it was more than a side hustle. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Ryan has built a loyal following through his authentic storytelling and radio-ready sound, as reflected on his 2024 full-length debut album SAME BAR, DIFFERENT TOWN, which produced two charting singles including the title track and “Owe It All To You.” A captivating live performer, Ryan has shared the stage with some of the genre’s most respected names, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Marty Stuart, Lauren Alaina, Little Texas, John Anderson and Neal McCoy. He will perform his new record at an album release show on June 27 at Reitano Vineyards in his hometown of Front Royal, Virginia.
