After the 57th Country Music Association Awards, VegasInsider.com collected all of the records that were broken at the 2023 ceremony.

  • Lainey Wilson joined a group of 10 other artists who won Entertainer of the year on their first nomination, and she is only the third female artist to ever win on her first nomination after Shania Twain and Taylor Swift; Wilson is also the first solo female artists since Taylor Swift to win Entertainer of the year, Vocalist of the year and Album of the year in the same year (Swift did so in 2009 with “Fearless”)

  • Chris Stapleton extended his record for the most wins in the Male vocalist of the year category – he has won record-breaking 6 times, and this year was his 7th trophy; Stapleton also climbed up in the overall rankings and he is now the 5th most awarded artist in the CMAs history with 15 wins (thus breaking his tie with Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley & Miranda Lambert)

  • Old Dominion tied Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts & Statler Brothers as the artist with the most wins in the Vocal Group of the Year (6 wins); interestingly, they also contributed to extending a streak of repetitive wins in the Vocal Group of the Year category, which has been going since 2003 – at first, Rascal Flatts won 6 years in a row (2003-2008), Lady A won 3 years in a row (2009-2011), Little Big Town 6 years in a row (2012-2017) and Old Dominion has won every year since 2018

  • Brothers Osborne broke their 2nd-3rd place tie with Sugarland (5 wins) and became the sole holder of the record for the second most wins in the Vocal duo of the year category
