RILEY GREEN EXPANDS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ALBUM WITH DON’T MIND IF I DO (DELUXE)

Riley Green, the multi-PLATINUM, ACM, and CMA Award-winning singer-songwriter, is set to release the highly anticipated extended version of his 2024 record, Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe), this Friday, August 29th. The deluxe edition adds six new tracks that promise to deepen the project’s emotional and sonic landscape, further solidifying Green’s place as a leading voice in modern Country music.

The new additions showcase Green’s signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and southern authenticity, offering fans a mix of vulnerability and rugged charm. Among the standout tracks is the emotionally charged “Make It Rain,” a song that tackles the heavy subject of regret with raw honesty. Green also teams up with fellow artist Randy Houser on the rural anthem, “Cowboy As It Gets,” a collaboration that’s sure to resonate with listeners who appreciate traditional country roots. Another highlight is the tender duet, “I Just Need You,” featuring rising artist Hannah McFarland, which offers a poignant moment of quiet reflection.

In addition to these collaborations, the deluxe album includes several introspective and thematic songs. In “What Am I Supposed To Do Now,” Green reflects on the heartbreak and confusion that follows a breakup. He also taps into his love for the outdoors on “Bet They’re Biting,” a track that paints a vivid picture of a day on the water. The collection is rounded out by a powerful tribute in “One To Willie,” which not only honors the Country legends who paved the way but also features the unmistakable guitar work of the icon himself, Willie Nelson.

These six new songs seamlessly integrate with the original album, showcasing Green’s lyrical depth and his ability to connect with fans on a personal level. The release of Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe) is a testament to Green’s commitment to his craft, providing listeners with a richer, more comprehensive look into his artistry and underscoring why he is a celebrated figure in today’s Country music scene.

JAMES DUPRÉ RELEASES HEARTFELT NEW ALBUM, IT’S ALL HAPPENING

Louisiana Country crooner, James Dupré, releases his highly anticipated new album, It’s All Happening, out now via Warner Music Nashville.

The album features original tracks written by Dupré and other top songwriters, as well as songs that have been previously recorded by the likes of Jackson Browne, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Kathy Mattea. With production by Kyle Lehning, the album includes layered instrumentation and vibrant melodies, showcasing the depths of James’ soul and sonic growth.

“This album is the culmination of years of highs, lows, and everything in between,” said James Dupré, adding “It’s All Happening is more than just a title—it’s a reminder that life rarely unfolds the way you plan, but there’s beauty in the unexpected. I poured my heart into these songs, and my hope is that people find pieces of their own story in them, the way I’ve found pieces of mine.”

The standout musician is currently serving as lead vocalist on the “More Life Tour” alongside Country Music Hall of Famer, Randy Travis and his original band, running through this Winter. The tour will be performing at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville on November 15.

James has been growing a steady music career since his first appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show in 2007 and on Adam Levine’s team on The Voice in 2015. His previous music releases include Spring’s Perfect Time EP, Home and Away, and Stoned To Death.

About James Dupré
James Dupré was born and raised in Bayou Chicot, Louisiana. He was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Country Artists You Need to Know” and has spent years sharing his smooth baritone voice with his fans across social media and at venues and festivals across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The one-time aspiring meteorologist turned paramedic became a YouTube sensation in 2007 which ultimately led to an invitation to perform on The Ellen Degeneres Show. After signing a record deal with Warner Music Nashville in 2011, Dupré began performing and touring full-time. In 2015, Dupré appeared on NBC’s The Voice (Season 9) with a four chair turn, landing him a spot on Adam Levine’s team. Following his departure from The Voice, James released his album Stoned to Death, yielding two singles charting on the Billboard Indicator chart: “Hurt Good” and the title track. The father of five made his acting debut in the film “The Price” playing the son of a country singer portrayed by Randy Travis. In 2019, James was handpicked by Randy and his wife, Mary, as the special guest vocalist for the “More Life Tour.” Along with Randy’s original band, James performs all of the Country Music Hall of Famer’s biggest hits. James released his next studio album, Home and Away, in 2020 with three singles: the title track, “Another Love Song,” and “Painfully Pretty.” In September 2023, he made his Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville, Tenn. In May 2024, James was featured on CBS Sunday Morning as being the first ever “vocal bed” on a commercially released song. The single, “Where That Came From,” was the first new music released by Randy Travis in over a decade, and was produced with the help of Artificial Intelligence to reimagine Randy’s legendary vocals on new music.

TAYLA LYNN TO PERFORM AT AMERICAN RED CROSS TIFFANY CIRCLE SUMMIT SEPT. 12

Tayla Lynn, granddaughter of one of the most awarded musicians of all time, Queen of Country Music, Loretta Lynn, and a musician herself, has been invited to perform and share the Lynn family’s story of their community’s disaster recovery at the upcoming American Red Cross Tiffany Circle Summit in Washington, DC, Sept. 11-13.

Now in its 18th year, the Tiffany Circle engages female philanthropists worldwide in the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross. Tiffany Circle members from around the globe will gather to celebrate the impact of these women leaders at The Summit, to be held at the Red Cross DC headquarters and the Salamander hotel. The Lynn family women received the Red Cross humanitarian award in March 2022 for the compassionate support they demonstrated during their community’s greatest time of need after catastrophic flooding. Sadly, Loretta Lynn passed away later that year.

“Being asked to share our story at the Tiffany Circle Summit is deeply humbling,” Tayla Lynn says. “The flood that took so many lives in our hometown changed us forever. I wasn’t the hero—I just opened my doors, linked arms with neighbors and tried to help people find their footing in the darkest hours,” she explains. “To stand in a room full of women who have dedicated their lives to helping others and to share our community’s story of heartbreak and hope is an honor I don’t take lightly.”

Now, Lynn is proudly carrying on her grandmother’s incredible legacy as an artist and humanitarian by partnering with the Red Cross in a powerful initiative to raise funds and awareness to help people affected by disasters big and small across the country. She will be featured the evening of Friday, Sept. 12, in a 30–40-minute Story and Song presentation, where Lynn will perform with her band and share her touching story of the 2021 Waverly/Hurricane Mills, Tenn., floods that resulted in 20 deaths, including that of Loretta Lynn’s beloved Ranch foreman of over 30 years.

Following the floods, the Lynn family’s efforts to help others were relentless. In addition to partnering with the Red Cross to help ensure people had food and supplies in the immediate aftermath of the disaster, they spearheaded fundraising efforts for Humphreys County with the Loretta Lynn’s Friends: Hometown Rising concert, raising nearly $1 million for flood relief.

As disasters become more frequent and intense, so does their human impact. To learn more about the growing needs for disaster relief, visit redcross.org.

ROSIE SHARES HER STORY AS A “CITY WOMAN” – NEW ALBUM OUT NOW

Heart-on-sleeve New York singer-songwriter ROSIE shares her new album City Woman out now via Arista Records. The intimate collection of songs will be performed by ROSIE on her fall City Woman Tour, on sale now, with more dates to come.

City Woman’s songs encompass the emotional complexity of love, its aftermath, and personal growth, blending lively melodies with vivid storytelling. The most recent single “Turn Red” joins previously released City Woman songs including the empowering “Mr. Blue Jeans,” which cleverly flips the script on being ghosted on a date, and “City Woman,” a country-kissed single about opposites attracting … until they don’t.

City Woman brings more of these deeply confessional, vulnerable, yet self affirming tones central to her cathartic, candid, and curative recent EP, What Scares Me the Most — which will also be included in the album. Tracks like “Piece of My Heart” capture the difficulty of letting down emotional barriers to give and accept love from someone else. Over a melodic acoustic arrangement, Rosie sings “So here’s a little piece of my heart / I’m scared of letting down my guard / I’m scared to give it all at once / But I can give it part by part / So here’s a little piece of my heart.”

As ROSIE learns to share a piece of her heart in the track, she shares a piece of her life with her listener. About the album, ROSIE shares, “This album is the story of the last three years of my life, the different cities I’ve stayed in, and the lessons I’ve learned about myself in each one,” says ROSIE about City Woman. “One city taught me how to lose someone with grace, one taught me how to love someone with caution, and, most importantly, one taught me how to love myself with no conditions.”

Last year, ROSIE released moving full-band performance videos for “Blood Moon” and “I Was Wrong,” and also teamed with Nashville riser Caleb Hearn for the folk-pop charmer “Break a Promise,” their second duet. The duo first came together in early 2024 for “Little Bit Better,” a viral gem that garnered over 16M streams within two months of release. Ever since, she’s been building toward her fullest artistic statement yet: City Woman.

About ROSIE
When ROSIE started posting on TikTok, the emotional-pop artist achieved every songwriter’s dream: her breakout single “Never the 1” reached just shy of 18 million views and got the attention of Arista Records, who signed her shortly after. The New York native puts into words the complexities of heartbreak, resonating with millions, as well as celebrities like FINNEAS, Olivia Rodrigo, Charlie Puth, Olivia O’Brien, and Celine Dion — ROSIE even co-wrote “Love Again” for a SONY film, which was Dion’s first song since being diagnosed with SPS. At just 24 years old, ROSIE has already earned a reputation as a self-love visionary by championing social media transparency through her vow to never wear makeup and or edit her photos — not even Facetune. Whether it’s her lyrics or artwork, ROSIE brings forward unpolished authenticity. While ROSIE had a successful 2023 with the release of her sophomore EP, 5 Songs For Healing, and her first U.S. headlining tour, 2024 saw the songstress reach new heights. ROSIE’s music now reaches 3M+ listeners worldwide, and her “Little Bit Better” collaboration with singer-songwriter Caleb Hearn went viral, amassing over 22 million views across TikTok and Instagram shorts. After sharing a series of incredibly candid, deeply cathartic singles in 2024 — “Lose Me Too,” “Try Again,” “Rock Bottom,” “Big Heart” — ROSIE released the conceptually powerful What Scares Me the Most EP. In 2025, she goes even bigger.

A NEW SONGWRITER SHOWCASE, PODCAST & INTERNET SHOW CALLED “THE HOOK”, FILMED LIVE, SET TO OFFICIALLY LAUNCH IN SEPTEMBER

A new songwriter showcase, podcast and internet show called The Hook, filmed live, is being planned and will officially launch its final test show on Labor Day, September 1 at Nashville’s Eastside Bowl (1508A Gallatin Pike S, Madison, TN 37115). The event will take place from 7:30-9:30pm ahead of the show’s first planned pilot show taping on September 29, and is a FREE event to attend by the general public and open to songwriters of all talent levels to perform in.

The Hook was founded by veteran country music journalist and critic Kyle “Trigger” Coroneos of SavingCountryMusic.com, who intends to make this a top-of-the-line production captured live for distribution on YouTube and other platforms. Leading The Hook’s film production crew will be Director Jim Yockey (Grand Ole Opry, Music City Roots, Bluegrass Underground), Eric Martin (Music City Roots), and Peter Kimball (Music City Roots). Cliff Seltzer, who recently curated the acclaimed Jerry Garcia exhibition at the Bluegrass Museum Hall of Fame, will lead in the role of Executive Producer.

“If you’re anything like me, you’re perpetually frustrated that your favorite songwriters never seem to get their due,” said Trigger. “We’ve all had those moments when a song completely knocks you on the floor the first time you hear it. Sure, a good song can help pass the time and get your toe tapping. But a great song can change a life, change someone’s perspective on life, or change the world itself. We’re in search of those great songs.”

Hosting the show and making up the nucleus of the judges panel will be Trigger, along with award-winning songwriter Caitlin Cannon, who has worked as both a teacher and organizer for songwriting programs involving military veterans with PTSD, as well as in prison with felony inmates. Known for her fearlessness and unfiltered takes, she’s the perfect compliment to this completely unscripted show. Others professionals and songwriters from throughout the music industry will also join them on panel as time goes on.

“It won’t always be pretty,” Trigger warns. “There’ll be plenty of bad songs to sift through, which will be part of the fun. “Some might even get The Hook, but when you discover that one incredible song, it’ll all be worth it.”

About The Hook:
In an era when so many of the greatest songs go unheard, and their composers are resigned to virtual obscurity, “The Hook” aspires to open up a new and exciting forum for songs and their creators to find the audience and support they deserve. By breaking down the siloed perspectives that everyone suffers from in the digital age and completely opening up the opportunities to everyone, the best songs and songwriters will emerge with the help of artistic criticism and a dash of humor.

Though singing competitions abound, and forums for songwriters are not uncommon, “The Hook” is unique in how it centers the song first, not the singer, or the performance. A good performance can help sell a great song, but a great song can go much further, changing hearts and minds, changing our perspectives on the world, and changing the world itself.

“The Hook” believes the next world-changing song is out there just waiting to be heard. It seeks to create a platform to discover and showcase songs in a way that would preserve the small and pure tones of truth that would be otherwise smothered by mainstream noise. “The Hook” wants to hear the next world changing song, and is ready to dig through the ugly, the profane, and the downright bad to find them.
