LEWIS BRICE RELEASES ‘PERFECT VALENTINE’S DAY SOUNDTRACK’ WITH NEW SINGLE “CALL ME YOURS”

Just in time for February 14, singer-songwriter Lewis Brice releases new single “Call Me Yours,” the “perfect Valentine’s Day soundtrack (Taste of Country).” Taste of Country exclusively premiered the track, noting “Call Me Yours” is a lyrical confession of a man’s past romantic transgressions, wedded to a chorus in which he reveals that he’s changed thanks to the love of a good woman.”

“I may not have been the writer of this song, but I felt like it was the perfect continuation of a love story that came to life with some of my other singles, ‘It’s You’ and ‘That’s a Given,'” shares Brice. “My buddies Rob Hatch, Ben Simonetti and Adam James wrote it on a writers retreat we were all on, and I just fell in love with it and am so stoked to release it right in time for Valentine’s Day!”

The song is another romantic single from the country singer, with previous single “It’s You” amassing more than 15 million streams, as covered in People, the video featured Brice’s fiancé Denelle Manzer. “Call Me Yours” is the second release of a forthcoming album from Brice, set for release in August of this year.

Brice has been named one of Rolling Stone Country’s “2017’s New Country Artists You Need to Know” and Billboard’s “Country Artists to Watch in 2018”. Tracks from the EP were featured on SiriusXM The Highway, CMT Music, and Spotify’s New Boots & Wild Country playlists, and its lead single ‘Best Ex Ever’ reached the Top 40 of MusicRow’s Country Breakout radio chart.

Devastated by the damage from the Dec. 10 tornado in Mayfield, Ky., Ricky Skaggs and Steven Curtis Chapman have organized a benefit concert on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 7:00 p.m. (CT) at Heartland Church in Chapman’s hometown of Paducah, Ky. Jason Aldean Named Country Radio Broadcasters 2022 Artist Humanitarian Award Recipient

Multi-Platinum entertainer Jason Aldean has been named Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) 2022 Artist Humanitarian Award recipient.
CRS/CRB Board President Kurt Johnson commented, “Jason Aldean doesn’t have to brag about his songs or his concert tours. They speak for themselves. He also doesn’t call attention to his massive philanthropic work. So we will. Join us at CRS as we shine a light on all the good that Jason does and the good people he supports.”
While many of Aldean’s efforts are removed from the public eye, his charitable acts have gained recognition throughout the years. Aldean has contributed to numerous organizations over the course of his career, including Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olsen Children’s Hospital, GA’s Children’s Hospital, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, ACM Lifting Lives, Red Cross, and more.  In his hometown of Macon, Georgia, Aldean raised over $2 million for Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olsen Children’s Hospital, GA’s Children’s Hospital. RANDALL KING ANNOUNCES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MAJOR LABEL DEBUT ALBUM, SHOT GLASS

Country music traditionalist Randall King is entering the new year with the long-awaited announcement that has been keeping fans at the edge of their seats – or barstools. His forthcoming major label debut album, Shot Glass, will be available everywhere on March 18. Featuring 11 standout tracks, eight of which co-written by King, the album centers around a night out at a bar, which each song representing a different point of view of those in the room. Produced by Bart Butler and Ryan Gore, Shot Glass tells the tale that you’re never drinking alone.
“This record is four years in the making, and there are a lot of things I’ve gone through in those years,” said King. “Heartbreak, love, loss, fear, anger, peace. You hear all of that through this record. It’s a piece of me that I love and can’t wait to share with the world, for it to resonate and hit folks right where they need. There are songs I’ve written over the last five years on this record, some I’ve played out and some nobody has heard yet. I’m excited to drop it and let it off the chain!”
King gave several sneak peaks of the album last year with releases “You In A Honky Tonk” (LISTEN HERE), “Baby Do” (LISTEN HERE) and first taste “Record High” (LISTEN HERE). The steel guitar-soaked track brought MusicRow to say “this dude is a for-real country singer, and this rhythm-happy Texas honky tonker stakes a for-real claim to stardom.” Rolling Stone also remarked “King sings it with delicious gusto, curling his voice around notes in impressive — but not flashy ways — and demonstrating why he’s a talented newcomer to watch.” Several other outlets agreed, with Pandora and Country Now placing King of their 2022 Country Artists to Watch lists.
The Texas native released his first major label collection in 2020 with the Leanna EP (LISTEN HERE). Named after his late sister who passed, the EP reflects on King’s personal struggles of early life between depression and OCD, as well as the obstacles he faced after the unexpected loss of his sister. B.J. Thomas, whose career spanned over six decades and sold over 70 million albums, will have new music available to music lovers on February 4, 2022, as Real Gone Music will release an 18-song CD, which will include 13 unreleased songs! Born in Oklahoma, raised in Texas, B.J. Thomas began his career with the Houston-based band The Triumphs, when as lead singer he covered his father’s favorite Hank Williams classic “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” which led to Scepter Records to buy out his contract and take the song to the Top 10 on the national charts. Hit after hit then followed for B.J. as he mixed genres effortlessly, joining legendary Memphis producer Chips Moman for a series of smashes (“Hooked on a Feeling,” “The Eyes of a New York Woman,” “I Just Can’t Help Believing”) and he hit paydirt with the #1 Bacharach- David hit “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head,” the Oscar-winning song from Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid.

B.J.’s cross-over to country was cemented with his 1975 pop/country/adult contemporary million-seller “(Hey, Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song.” Simultaneously, B.J. became the first platinum-selling Contemporary Christian recording artist with a string of hugely popular albums in the late 1970s and early 1980s which also won him five Grammys and numerous other awards.

Along the way, B.J. made countless television appearances and performed thousands of concerts into 2020 until the Coronavirus pandemic brought an end to touring. His voice and energy remained almost supernaturally strong and B.J. eagerly looked forward to returning to the stage until cancer claimed his life on May 29, 2021, at the age of 78.
