ASHLEY COOKE ENLISTS JIMMIE ALLEN FOR POWERFUL SINGLE “GOOD GOODBYE,” AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE

Rising Country newcomer Ashley Cooke teams up with multi-platinum ACM ‘New Male Artist of the Year’ award-winner Jimmie Allen for an all-new duet of “Good Goodbye” feat. Jimmie Allen, available everywhere today. The new song, which was added to Spotify’s New Music Friday upon release, is accompanied by a behind-the-scenes in-studio visualizer, also out now. The fresh collaboration comes on the heels of the announcement of her forthcoming debut project, Already Drank That Beer, arriving Aug. 27.

Written by Cooke and Back Blocks Music’s Blake Pendergrass, “Good Goodbye” picks up as a couple ends their relationship but longs for one last memory together before they go their separate ways. In this duet, the voices of Cooke and Allen portray the honest, raw and complicated emotions that come with saying goodbye.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Jimmie Allen – so having him want to collaborate is such a dream come true,” shares Cooke. “We had so much fun with this song and I’m so grateful to Jimmie for putting his own spin on it, and really adding something special.”

“Putting out my debut album is such an exciting, surreal experience. After a year of connecting with fans through social media, now is the perfect time to put more music out and share it with the fans, not just through digital platforms, but out on the road too,” adds Cooke. “This album shares vulnerable parts of my life, and I’m excited for everyone to get to know me better through my music.”

Recently tapped as Spotify’s Radar Country artist of the month for July, Cooke also made her second appearance on Bobby Bones’ Bobbycast and has been featured on SiriusXM The Highway. Cooke continues to prepare for her opening slot on BRELAND’s tour this Sept. For more information, visit www.ashleycooke.com and keep up with her on InstagramTikTok and YouTube.
