RISSI PALMER TO RELEASE ANTICIPATED NEW EP, PERSPECTIVES, ON FEBRUARY 6, 2026

Acclaimed singer-songwriter and trailblazer Rissi Palmer is set to release her highly anticipated EP, PERSPECTIVES, on February 6, 2026. The dynamic four-track collection showcases Palmer’s exceptional gift for storytelling, blending deeply personal experiences with her broad musical influences.

PERSPECTIVES is a powerful celebration of both tradition and progress, featuring tracks that resonate across the spectrum of human experience. The EP includes the deeply reflective “Old Black Southern Woman” and the joyful, self-penned “Good to Me.” Highlighting her diverse taste, Palmer also covers the soulful and timely “Can You Run?” (written by Chris Stapleton) and the poignant “Somebody Somewhere,” a beautiful homage to Country legend Loretta Lynn. This collection serves as a deeply personal reflection of Palmer’s roots while looking ahead to the future of her artistry.

“I’m incredibly proud of these songs,” says Palmer. “Each one felt so distinct, and they deserved their own spotlight outside of our upcoming full-length album. PERSPECTIVES is a return to my roots, and when I shared the idea with my longtime friend and collaborator, Shannon Sanders, he immediately understood the vision. Together, we created something special—honoring my influences while staying true to my voice. And with Dan Knobler’s touch on ‘Somebody Somewhere,’ we brought new life to a classic.”

The EP’s debut track, “Old Black Southern Woman,” was released earlier this month and is available now on all digital platforms.

A Grammy-nominated artist, Rissi Palmer is known for her influential work in Country and Americana, earning recognition as a powerful advocate for diversity and inclusion. She was recently honored by the Academy of Country Music with the ACM Lift Every Voice Award for her work amplifying underrepresented voices. Named one of Forbes’ “15 Black Artists Redefining Country Music,” Palmer continues to reshape the genre while touring nationally and internationally.

PERSPECTIVES will be available everywhere on February 6, 2026.
