JESSIE JO DILLON DEFINES A BANNER YEAR WITH CAREER MILESTONES, CHART SUCCESS & CRITICAL ACCLAIM

With a pen that cuts deep and a fearless vision that continues to shape the sound of modern music, acclaimed songwriter JESSIE JO DILLON is commanding a career-defining year – one that reaffirms her standing as one of Nashville’s most vital voices. Her eclectic songbook not only exemplifies excellence in the craft but defines it. As her innate talent, sharp instincts and masterful lyrics have never been more essential, Jessie Jo is a once-in-a-generation songwriter at the peak of her power.
In a season filled with creative triumphs and industry recognition, Jessie Jo reached new heights this year – remains the two-time, reigning ACM Awards and AIMP Nashville Songwriter of the Year, earned MusicRow Awards Female Songwriter of the Year honor and received her second consecutive GRAMMY® Awards nomination for Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical, further cementing her place among the industry’s most respected and in-demand creatives.
“I don’t know if I’m ever more content or safe feeling than when I’m working on a song with the people I love,” Jessie Jo shared while recently accepting her ACM Songwriter of the Year award. She continued, “to all the songwriters who came before me and the ones coming up now, this community is built on soul and storytelling and I’m so proud to be a part of it.”
“Every time I’ve had the pleasure of writing with Jessie Jo Dillon it’s been truly so special. She has this gift for creating a space where you can put your guard down and you can be completely honest and vulnerable and she somehow makes you feel braver in that process,” Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild shared while presenting Jessie Jo with her ACM Songwriter of the Year award.
Jessie Jo is currently vying for CMA Awards Song of the Year with Megan Moroney’s No. 1 hit “Am I Okay?,” marking her first nomination. This milestone follows her prestigious CMA Triple Play Award for writing three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period (Jelly Rolly’s Halfway To Hell,” Old Dominion’s “Memory Lane” and Tyler Hubbard’s “Back Then Right Now”) – a testament to both her prolific output and unmatched ability to connect with listeners at scale.
Jessie Jo also earned a highly coveted NSAI ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written” Award for co-penning Morgan Wallen’s “Lies Lies Lies,” recognition by Variety for their inaugural Power of Women Nashville class of top songwriters and was awarded the Song Suffragettes’ 2025 Yellow Rose of Inspiration Award. She recently notched another multi-week No. 1 with Russell Dickerson’s “Happen To Me,” which reigned atop the Country radio charts across the US, Canada and UK.
Beyond her songwriting achievements, Jessie Jo remains dedicated to advocating for and nurturing the next generation of authentic and fearless voices. In August, she launched Gatsby Records as Founder & President, a new imprint under MCA. The label recently celebrated its first release with Carter Faith’s critically-acclaimed debut album Cherry Valley, out now. Jessie Jo co-penned “Burn My Memory” alongside Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill and Faith for the project.
