Country music firebrand Gavin Adcock debuts his latest track “Run Your Mouth.” With rip-roaring guitar shreds and lilting twangy vocals, the rowdy song preludes his highly anticipated album, Actin’ Up Again, out this Friday (8/2). Fans can listen/save “Run Your Mouth” and pre-order/pre-save the August 2nd album release Actin’ Up Again now.

Written by Adcock and Jack Rauton, “Run Your Mouth” encapsulates the unfiltered, fist-in-the-air country jams that make up his forthcoming record, Actin’ Up Again. “I see this song like a video: You’re walking on the road to the pace of the song, which is kind of brisk, and there’s a mob behind you of people you’ve pissed off!” Adcock said. “But you’re just walking steady and determined, confident you’re in the right — run your mouth and don’t look back.”

Actin’ Up Again, which will be released this Friday via Thrivin Here Records LLC under exclusive license to Warner Music Nashville, is comprised of 16 tracks written or co-written by Adcock that tell it like it is. He unveils each song as if he’s telling a story from the next barstool over with easy-listening vocals that are roughed up with a southern growl and a bit of raucous. Covering topics from lost loves to one-night stands to small-town life, each track maintains Adcock’s trademark unapologetic approach and is without a doubt meant to be blared through the truck speakers.

Adcock has been consistently rolling out songs from the album starting in November 2023 with the release of “A Cigarette” which has now surpassed over 70 million US on-demand streams, and over 500k unit equivalents.

Since he first began releasing music in 2021, the Georgia native, son of a steer trader, and former Georgia Southern University football player has barreled his way into country music. Drawn to his no-filter songwriting and work-hard, play-hard persona, Adcock has built a devoted and rowdy young audience. This past weekend, the singer-songwriter posted a social media invite for fans to preview the new album at Two Foot Cove on Old Hickory Lake, just northeast of Nashville. Buzzing fans traveled from all over to join the party, including two brothers from Ohio who drove all night, stopping only to buy a raft to paddle to the boat.
