Craig Campbell Releases “Better By The Sea” Video

Country hitmaker Craig Campbell has officially dropped the sun-soaked music video for his summer single, “Better By The Sea,” now available on his official YouTube channel. Filmed in West Palm Beach, Florida, the vibrant visuals capture the ultimate end-of-season coastal vibe, filmed aboard a boat belonging to Campbell’s close friend Doug Thompson, owner of RodsByDru.com custom fishing rods, equipment, and apparel.

Directed and shot by videographer Maddy Grossl, the music video brings together a tight-knit crew of family and friends. Featured on-screen alongside Campbell are co-writer Greg White and his wife Michelle, Thompson and his daughters Ava and Maya, as well as Campbell’s lead guitarist, Jason Miller.

“Summer may be coming to an end, but that never stops our desire to hit the water or pop a cold one at the beach,” Campbell shared about the project. “We had a blast shooting this video, and I can’t thank all of our friends enough for joining us!”

Co-written by Campbell, Greg White, Jason Cannon, and Mitch Rossell, “Better By The Sea” was produced by Bart Busch and released under Grindstone Recordings via Vydia. The breezy track continues Campbell’s long-standing tradition of authentic, feel-good country storytelling.

On the Road & Community Roots

Fans can catch Campbell live on stage in Columbia, Tennessee, at The Mulehouse Hit Songwriter Show alongside Brian White and Gary Chapman, followed by a headlining appearance at the Red, White, & Boots Music Festival in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Known as one of country music’s most reliable traditionalists, the Lyons, Georgia native first broke onto the scene with top 15 hits like “Family Man,” “Outta My Head,” and “Fish”. His independent spirit shone when his 2014 breakout hit “Keep Them Kisses Comin'” cracked the Top 10 despite his label closing mid-chart run, followed by the acclaimed ballad “Outskirts of Heaven”.

Beyond music, Campbell remains deeply invested in entrepreneurship and philanthropy. In addition to launching Grindstone Recordings, he and his wife Mindy opened Grindstone Cowboy—a coffee shop, restaurant, and music venue in Eagleville, Tennessee, which expanded to a second 12,000-square-foot location in downtown Shelbyville.

Off the stage, Campbell’s dedication to giving back stands front and center. He created the Kenny Campbell Foundation in memory of his father, who passed away from colorectal cancer at age 36. The foundation has raised over one million dollars toward colorectal cancer research and awareness. Continuing that momentum, the 12th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge raised over $35,000—marking the highest total amount raised and the largest celebrity turnout in the event’s history.
