COUNTRY RISER, DAVID TUCKER, RELEASES ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS SONG AND NEW VIDEO “CHRISTMAS MEMORY”

David Tucker is ringing in the Christmas season with the original holiday track, “Christmas Memory.” Written by David and Jake and Sydney Saghi, the Christmas song is a downhearted tale of missing someone at the holidays, but David’s warm voice never fails to bring the listener in. Listen to the track here and watch the video here!

“With so many amazing Christmas songs out there, I’m beyond thrilled to release my first-ever holiday single and video, ‘Christmas Memory,’ to the world! Growing up I always listened to traditional Christmas music, but not always from the perspective of someone spending the holiday away from their love! I’ve always wanted to put my own flair on the season and show people different things we all go through during the holidays. I was proud to write this one with my good friends Jake and Sydney Shaghi. One of my favorite lines in the song is ‘I bet you’re looking at lights through an airplane window, took your sweet time pickin’ out that dress.’ To me that’s one of the hardest feelings of watching your lover go somewhere without you during such a special season of love and joy. It really paints the picture for the listener and people who have experienced the same feeling of being alone, but also knowing that they still have the chance to make it an amazing Christmas memory.” said David Tucker.

If I was kissin’ you
Instead of just missing you right now
I wouldn’t have to listen to my parents talk about me and you
What we were supposed to be
Branches on a family tree
Wish you were here with me
I can’t help but believe that we were more
Than a Christmas memory

David has had quite the year as he’s released new music, premiered music videos on CMT, and has opened for rock legend, Brett Michaels. To stay up to date with all things David Tucker, please visit davidtuckerjams.com.

About David Tucker
As the city of Nashville has grown, David Tucker’s boots have been on the ground in more ways than one. By day he’s worked as a welder, building the new skyscrapers that define the skyline; by night he’s been writing, performing in town and honing his craft. He has diversified his skills, rounding himself out as an all-around musician by writing, singing, and playing guitar, bass, drums and piano, amongst others, while also applying his artist’s ear by co-writing and producing projects for others. David grew up in Augusta, Kentucky, where his love for music was cultivated by singing in his fathers church. After building a following in his home state, the momentum of his music led him to Nashville, where he’s since paid his dues performing in venues from local hotspots to CMA stages. In a time when live music has been put on hold, David has been crafting a new musical vision for himself, grounded in his Kentucky roots and upbringing. His new songs shine a light on country music as a truth-telling force. His sound and the impression he makes are both relatable and memorable for his fans. Experiencing David’s music, you’ll hear love, heartache, records spinning and candles burning. His songs share real truths from his own life and those of his collaborators on their journeys through love, music, Nashville and more. David faces his challenges and determination for a music career head-on, with an affirmative attitude grounded in faith and service to others. From helping neighbors in need, to funding cancer research through his board membership of Scott Hamilton’s CARES Foundation, giving back to his community is a priority. David’s debut project, to be released throughout 2021, follows the experiences and insights of his life’s journey through the past few years, wrapped in his own modern country sound. Drawing from influences from 90’s country and gospel, to rap to rock & roll, his diverse background makes this his most authentic music yet.

DENNIS QUAID LAUNCHES BONNIEDALE PRODUCTION COMPANY, FIRST FEATURE FILM, A BIOPIC ON CHARLEY PRIDE, TITLED AMERICAN PRIDE

Multi-hyphenate global superstar Dennis Quaid, along with Laura Quaid and Ben Howard, are launching a new production company, BONNIEDALE. Its first feature film, a biopic on CHARLEY PRIDE, titled AMERICAN PRIDE will be in partnership with producer Craig Brewer, and Third Coast Content. The screenplay is being written by Dianne Houston (EMPIRE, SURVIVING COMPTON, WHEN WE RISE, TUESDAY MORNING RIDE). Brewer (HUSTLE AND FLOW, DOLEMITE, COMING 2 AMERICA) will direct and produce.

AMERICAN PRIDE is a biopic capturing the passion and determination of the young man from Sledge, Mississippi who started out as a minor league ballplayer, and became instead the first African American Country Music superstar. The film will focus on the love story between Charley and his wife, Rozene, as well as his ascent to fame as an artist and entrepreneur during a challenging time in American culture.

“Charley Pride was more than a superstar, icon or legend. Charley was a beautifully talented man who believed with his entire heart in the greatness of the American dream, and was determined to claim his place within it. With all of the talk today about what is and is not American, Charley Pride’s life story is a reminder to us all of what being an American is all about,” Dianne Houston shared.

Fitting of Dennis’ legendary connection to audiences as an actor, BONNIEDALE will focus on aspirational and inspiring stories of real people and real life. Dennis says, “As an actor, I have always gravitated toward roles of the underdog—the person who achieves great things against even greater odds. I think all of us are drawn to stories of people who are willing to get up, again and again, to do whatever it takes to finally break through. We love to cheer for the fighter, the underdog, the hopeful dreamer. In many ways, this is my own life. That’s why I’m excited to turn my attention to BONNIEDALE, where we will find and drive stories that are meaningful and that matter.”

Partner Ben Howard, who previously worked as a producer starring Quaid in Netflix’s BLUE MIRACLE, has been involved in aspirational projects for more than 15 years and has been running Third Coast Content in partnership with Endeavor Content since 2018. Endeavor was the lead financier of BLUE MIRACLE.

“I’m excited to work with Dennis and Laura in making the world a better place through the films, shows and content we develop and produce,” Howard shared.

The name BONNIEDALE derives from Quaid’s mother’s middle name.

BONNIEDALE will be represented by Darren Boghosian at UTA, George Freeman at Brillstein Partners, and Scott Adkins at Adkins Publicity, who have offices in Los Angeles and Nashville.

THE HOBBS SISTERS ADD THEIR COUNTRY FLAIR TO “PLEASE COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS”

“We love the holidays and we have so many great memories of spending Christmas with our family. This was such a fun song to record and we can’t wait to share it!” says The Hobbs Sisters.

The classic Christmas song is a melancholy tale but the country arrangement done by The Hobbs Sisters gives the tune a livelier feel that draws in listeners. Fans will love playing this during their holiday festivities, and this single is sure to become a yearly favorite each time winter comes around!

About The Hobbs Sisters

KANE BROWN JOINS JUSTIN BEIBER, ALESSIA CARA AND DARREN CRISS TO HOST “A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS”

CBS Presents the 23rd Annual “A Home For The Holidays At The Grove”, featuring uplifting stories of adoption from foster care and raising awareness of this important social issue, will broadcast Sunday, Dec.5th (9:30-10:30 PM, ET/9:00-10:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

The special, which filmed at famed retail, dining and entertainment destination The Grove in Los Angeles, will enhance the inspirational stories of several American families with performances by extraordinary artists. Kane Brown will perform and introduce the Rodriguez Family for a very special live adoption.

For the last two decades, the award-winning special has shined a light on the thousands of American children in foster care and has inspired tens of thousands of adoptions, moving these children into loving “forever families.”

Currently, there are more than 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S. who are hoping for a “forever home.” Foster children lead a difficult life. Only half graduate from high school, five percent graduate college, and within four years of aging out, 50 percent end up homeless. As this special illustrates, given a home and a chance, these children can thrive and go on to lead exemplary, even extraordinary, lives.

The stories featured on this year’s special include:

The Healy Family

From the time Celia was 9 months old until she was 12, she lived in nine different homes, so many that she can’t remember the faces and places. She was subject to constant abuse and often told that she would end up exactly like her mom, an addicted dropout who was pregnant at 15. At one point, Celia was so despondent, she attempted to take her own life. Trish and Andy Healy are Australian natives and had always wanted to adopt an older child. When Celia joined their family, they were shocked at how much she had endured, but inspired by her resilience. Celia felt safe for the first time in her life, knowing she was part of a loving family. Her grades and her confidence soared. Now she is bright, she is strong, is a freshman at UCLA, and on track for an amazing life.

 The Polk Family

When Christopher was born, he was left at the hospital by his mother, who struggled with substance abuse. He was adopted and raised by his grandmother. He met his husband, Jacari, in 2006 and they married in 2011. When it came time for the couple to adopt, they were matched with Knox, a 1-year-old boy who was born while his mother was in jail and had been subjected to neglect. With the similarities to Christopher’s story, the couple knew that this was meant to be. The Polks are a now happy trio. Knox is a thriving 3-year-old who loves bike riding and soccer. Christopher and Jacari both say that the day the adoption was finalized was the best day of their lives.

 The Ambrose Family

Brian and Heather always wanted a large family. They had three daughters biologically, but pregnancy complications with their third led them to adoption. With the addition of a baby boy, Carter, they felt their family was complete. When Carter was 4, they learned that Carter had a biological sister, Linden, 11 months old. The Ambrose’s were unprepared for another baby, but they opened their home and their hearts to this little girl and, two years later, they can’t imagine life without her.

 The Rodriguez Family

Marjorie was placed in foster care as a toddler. By the time she was 5 years old, she had lived in six different homes, where she had been subjected to neglect and abuse. Celine and Jerry Rodriguez were told about Marjorie and their hearts went out to her. They decided that this little girl would complete their family. At first, Marjorie was reserved, but they showered her with love and attention, and she blossomed into a beautiful and well-adjusted girl. They all can’t wait for the adoption to be finalized and for Marjorie to be a part of their forever family.

The special is presented in association with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children’s Action Network. Wendy’s founder, Dave Thomas, who was adopted, established the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which is dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of children in North America’s foster care system. The Children’s Action Network was founded in 1990 by leaders in the entertainment industry in order to harness the power of the entertainment media on behalf of children.

Country music icon Tracy Lawrence continues his philanthropic tradition with the 16th Annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert which provides much-needed support to Nashville Rescue Mission. This year’s event took place on November 23rd and raised an impressive $175,000 for Nashville Rescue Mission – the largest sum raised by a single Mission:Possible fundraising event to date. During the Turkey Fry, Tracy was presented with the honorary title of Tennessee Colonel in recognition of his years of philanthropic service to Nashville and greater Tennessee.

“It is a rare privilege to stand alongside someone with such an earnest heart for service, and so I consider it an honor to present Tracy with the prestigious title of Tennessee Colonel,” said Senator Blackburn. “Last year alone, his work with the Nashville Rescue Mission fed thousands of people and raised more than $100,000 in donations for the homeless and hungry. This is what love looks like and I thank Tracy from the bottom of my heart for giving that love so freely to the people of Nashville.”

Later that evening, Tracy and a few friends took the stage at SkyDeck at Assembly Hall for the benefit concert. Opening the concert was David Tolliver who welcomed the crowd to the rooftop outdoor space and got everyone in the mood for an evening full of great music. Lawrence then took the stage to thank volunteers, sponsors and everyone who helped make the day an overwhelming success. He was then joined on-stage by Country music stars Dustin LynchMichael Ray and Lainey Wilson where each took turns playing acoustic versions of some of their hit songs.

The 16th Annual Turkey Fry & Benefit Concert was presented by LHC, ABEC, M&W, as well as sponsors, TW Frierson, Zochem, Sam’s Club, Thomas Trucking, First National Bank, Publix, Mazda, Renasant Bank, Piedmont Gas, Music City Guide, Nashville Marine, Double A Productions, Brinkley Construction, Studio Bank, RE West, Hood Containers, Blue Rhino, Loanna Oil, Black Riffle Coffee Company, Fiji Water, UPTIME, Tyson and The Poultry Foundation.

JENNY TOLMAN RELEASES “SASSY, FUN, CREATIVE & COOL” MUSIC VIDEO FOR “I KNOW SOME COWBOYS”

Jenny Tolman gives off “playful country vibes (Parade.com)” with the release of her music video for “I Know Some Cowboys.” Parade.com exclusively premiered the video and noted, “the green screen visuals crafted to go along with this fun single almost distract the listener from the real star in this equation, Tolman’s amazing voice and tone. For a wise-cracking good country time, you’ve come to the right place!”

To watch the music video for “I Know Some Cowboys,” click HERE.

Taste of Country exclusively premiered the first listen to “I Know Some Cowboys,” sharing, “Guitars, fiddle, steel and B3 organ drive a rhythm that carries Tolman as she tells her man to step up or step aside (Billy Dukes).” MusicRow’s Robert K. Oermann praised the new single stating, “Nashville’s finest unsigned talent sings the praises of Texas gentlemen in this instantly catchy, sprightly, clever country rocker. An irresistible toe tapper.”

“‘I Know Some Cowboys’ is a song that was born out of my very first tour throughout Texas,” shares the Nashville native. “I was on the road and we went everywhere from New Braunfels, to Dallas, to San Antonio, The Woodlands, and more. Everywhere I went there would be cowboys opening doors for me, carrying my gear, tipping their hats… and on and on. They would try to teach me how to Texas Two-Step, which I was horrible at, but it was so much fun! So, when I came home I said to my sweetheart/producer, Dave Brainard, ‘Honey, you better step it up! Cause I know some cowboys!’ We love to laugh and poke fun at each other, so we ended up writing this song with our dear friend, Bill Whyte. It’s always a crowd favorite on the road and a personal favorite of mine because I like to show that girls can play honky-tonk songs, too.”

Tolman, who has been hailed by the Tennessean as an ‘Artist to Watch’ and included in MusicRow’s ‘Next Big Thing’ class of 2020 has been working on a new album with fiancé and producer, Dave Brainard. As featured on People.com, Tolman and the GRAMMY-nominated producer got engaged in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in October of 2020 after four years of dating. Fans got to watch Tolman shop for her upcoming nuptials on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” this summer, as the country singer appeared on Season 19 of the series.

To keep up with Jenny Tolman be sure to follow her on FacebookInstagramYouTube and Twitter and visit JennyTolman.com.

ABOUT JENNY TOLMAN:
With a razor-sharp wit and throwback sound, Jenny Tolman is on deck to become her generation’s Roger Miller—a comedic troubadour with a decidedly feminine perspective, offering savvy wordplay and wisdom far beyond her years. With titles like “High Class White Trash,” her debut album There Goes the Neighborhood lit up Nashville in 2020 by delivering engaging snapshots of small-town life in the fictional Jennyville. Not many new artists would step into the spotlight quite so brazenly but doing so has been worth the gamble thus far for Tolman, with the Nashville Scene singling out There Goes the Neighborhood as “Best Country Debut Album,” while The Tennessean named her an “Artist to Watch” and MusicRow Magazine included her in its “Next Big Thing” Class of 2020. Pretty heady stuff for a 25-year-old whom veteran Music Row writer Robert K. Oermann says is “practically single-handedly bringing humor back into country music.”
