BRETT ELDREDGE MOVES THROUGH TIME WITH MUSICAL FLASHBACKS ON NEW SINGLE “SONGS ABOUT YOU”

Fifth Studio Album Songs About You Available on June 17

“Songs About You” Set to Impact Country Radio Monday, April 25

Hearing a familiar song can instantly take us back in time to the moments when those songs left an indelible mark on our lives. In his new single, “Songs About You,” Brett Eldredge namechecks lines from classics like Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark,” Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” as he works through the emotions of an old flame, brought back to him by the music (LISTEN HERE).
Available today, “Songs About You” was written by Eldredge alongside Jessie Jo Dillion and Ben West and will impact radio on Monday, April 25. “There are songs that just transport you back in time to a moment with someone you love,” said Eldredge. “Even though you’ve not been with the person for a long time, these songs take ahold of you. You might be having a fine day, then you walk into a store where the song is playing, and you’re transported into the past.”
“Songs About You” is also the title track for Eldredge’s new album that will be released June 17 (PRE-ORDER HERE). The album will feature 12 songs co-written by Eldredge including the previously released “Want That Back” and “Holy Water.” “I knew exactly what I wanted to say and what I wanted the album to sound like,” said Eldredge of the new album. “I wanted the album to be songs that connect us all in the human experience. These are emotions that are reflective of each of us. There are songs of solitude, joy and heartbreak, and I like that tension.
Songs About You is about the songs that instantly recall your own experiences. The songs that can make you remember exactly how you felt, or the sights around you or the smells in the air. The songs that make you remember all the happiness and the heartbreak.”
These latest releases follow his seven country-radio No. 1’s, nine Gold and Platinum-certified singles, two Gold-certified albums, multiple CMA, ACM and CMT Music nominations and wins and most recently, his critically acclaimed fourth studio record, Sunday Drive.

Stephanie Quayle Releases Her Self-Titled Album, Stephanie Quayle, Available Now

Country music singer-songwriter and Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, has released her self-titled album, Stephanie Quayle, available now. This collection of music, including singles “By Heart,” “Wild Frontier,” and “I Want The World For You,” along with some brand new material like the comforting “Hang My Hat,” are in totality, a reflection of where Stephanie is at this point in her own life as she sets the stage for her next chapter.

LISTEN:                 Stephanie Quayle Album

“’Hang My Hat’ is a lyrical play and total earworm,” says Quayle. “Tori Tullier had this title and it was an ‘OF COURSE’ when we three (Quayle, Tullier and Karen Kosowski) sat down to write. As a writer on the song, I feel so incredibly proud of it and its complex simplicity – not to mention how honest it is in regards to my husband, the heart I hang my hat on every day.  The Western imagery represents so much to me, from my roots to what I live to how I want to live. It’s the mindset of not running away from love but choosing it every day, letting it grow like the sunrise… sometimes it’s too bright and you have to shift your gaze to get it all back into focus. There’s an effortless story here to tell and when it comes to love, that story never gets old. Thank God or we would all be out of business.”

About Stephanie Quayle:

Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, has had a massive presence at country radio garnering over 100 million audience impressions and ranking Top 10 in Current Female Airplay with standout singles “Whatcha Drinkin ‘Bout” and “Selfish” in the last few years. In March or 2022, Quayle appeared on the cover of Cowgirl Magazine, where she was highlighted for her authentic Western lifestyle and her achievements in Country music. The CMT “Next Women of Country” inductee has been tapped as a Grand Ole Opry darling, making multiple appearances into the iconic circle and performing on the historic Ryman Auditorium stage. Quayle was included in the star-studded weeklong line-up to celebrate Dolly Parton’s 50th Anniversary of being a Grand Ole Opry member. The entertainer has shared stages with artists like Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Aaron Watson, LOCASH, and many more; and in a once in a lifetime opportunity, the charismatic performer was the only independent act invited to perform for the five living former U.S. presidents (Obama, W. Bush, Clinton, H.W. Bush and Carter) alongside artists like Lady Gaga and Alabama as part of the hurricane relief concert “Deep from the Heart: The One America Appeal” in Texas.

The singer-songwriter’s booming personality has also been tapped as a special guest host for Wrangler Network, the Circle Network, Sounds Like Nashville, and One Country on the ACM Awards, CMT Awards and CMA Awards red carpets. She has been highlighted in People, Huffington Post, Glamour, Hollywood Life, Inspirer Magazine, Taste of Country and Billboard.com, to name a few. Quayle was recently named the First Female Country Music Ambassador for Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s, and also serves as music ambassador for Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply, an original store from her hometown of Bozeman, MT. She has teamed up with national brands Harley-Davidson, Kampgrounds Of America (KOA), Lucchese Bootmaker, Winnebago, Wrangler, and Running Iron Whiskey. She is an active supporter of charitable organizations like the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement, Care Camps, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

VETERAN MUSIC INDUSTRY RADIO PROMOTER AND MANAGER, DOC GONZALES, PASSES AWAY

Music Industry and Artists Reflect on Special Memories and Moments

Artist manager and promotion veteran Doc Gonzales, born November 17, 1962, died suddenly on Friday, April 15 at his home in Bowling Green, KY.  As the sole living member of his family, a Celebration of Life is set to be organized in the near future for friends and industry to reflect on his accomplishments and his passion for his work.

Gonzales owned and operated Triple Crown Management, which signed country trio Flat River Band last month. Past clients included Lonestar, Trick Pony, Steve Holy, Billy Dean, Heartland, Little Texas, Dallas RemingtonDonovan Chapman along with many more.

He started Triple Crown Promotions with Jim Dorman in 2012. Prior to starting Triple Crown, Gonzales also served as Director of Promotion, SE/SW at Nine North Records and spent 16 years at Graham Management Company.

Gonzales had more than 30 years experience in the music industry working in promotion, marketing, management and artist branding.

His proudest achievement was making history by being the first management company to chart its own artist and break them at radio with four #1 charting acts.

“This has just been such a devastating loss for me and to many others. We met Doc after we signed with Herbert Graham and Graham Artist Management and he played a critical role in our success and we had so many great times touring the country together and he was with us every step of the way. The years only brought us closer and I’m honored to have been his business partner and friend. I’m so glad we got to experience one last trip together to Vegas for the recent Academy of Country Music Awards and I will always cherish our time together. He was a gentle soul and a loyal friend and leaves a void that cannot be filled. He will be missed.”–Craig Anderson

“Doc was one of a kind… he was more than a manager and a radio promoter, he was like family!”–Chad, Andy and Dennijo Sitze, Flat River Band

“I am grief-stricken to hear of the loss of my long-time friend Doc Gonzales. Doc was on the road with us in the early years of Trick Pony and we remained friends through time. Whenever I would run into him, he had a big bear hug and nothing but kindness to share. He will forever be remembered as the big guy with a loving smile, a great sense of humor, and a passion for music, his family, and dear ones. He now proves, apparently, only the good die young! Way too young. My sincere condolences to his friends and family.” –Heidi Newfield

“Doc was the kinda man that put himself second and made sure everyone around him was having a good time and laughing no matter what was on his plate. As a Matter of fact, the last time we talked was Tuesday and he spent the majority of the phone call making me laugh and propping me up. Doc had twice the heart of anyone I’ve ever met. I will miss him dearly, The last phone call he spent most of the time telling me how great I was doing and how proud he was of me. If I’d only known that was the last time I’d talk to him.”–Ira Dean

“Doc was a hard-working, dedicated professional. My condolences to his family and friends.”–Larry Pareigis, President Nine North Records Label Group

“Doc was one of the good guys always doing for others wanting nothing in return always had a smile on his face and could always put a smile on your face with his sense of humor l always loved working with him he most certainly left his mark on this world Rest In Peace my friend.”–Richie McDonald

“Doc Gonzales and I walked the same roads from my early club days in Little Texas to the highway that leads from Texas to Nashville. He was always a hard worker and a good guy. From bing a DJ when I first met him at the Crystal Chandelier club in 1990 to radio and management in Nashville in the 2000’s, Doc had drive and passion at all times. I am sad to hear about his passing. Rest easy my friend.”–Tim Rushlow

“I’ve known Doc Gonzales since 2003 when I signed with Curb Records and witnessed first hand his passion for artists and the music industry. Doc represented my latest single to country radio with great enthusiasm, and it’s a tragedy to hear of his passing. I am sure that anyone who’s ever worked with Doc is feeling the same sadness with losing such a sincere friend. Doc had a great heart and soul. Rest In Peace brother Doc.”–Donovan Chapman

“My family and I were so sad to hear about Doc’s passing. Doc joined my team in 2020 and we instantly became friends. I’m definitely going to miss our long phone calls. I’ll never forget the way he believed in me and the champion he was for my music. He will be greatly missed.”–Dallas Remington

“I had the chance to work with Doc on Donovan’s latest Brotherhood album. He approached this project with all he had. After knowing me for a short while he took me under his wing and opened his network to me. Doc will be missed by all. Rest In Peace buddy.”–Matt Payne, Founder, Inner Circle Solutions, LLC

WALKER HAYES ANNOUNCES FIRST-EVER HEADLINING ARENA TOUR GLAD YOU’RE HERE

Hayes Set to Release His First Book, “Glad You’re Here” on May 3

On the heels of a breakthrough year filled with a Grammy nomination, five ACM Award nominations, a CMT Award nomination, and just announced earlier this month six nominations for the upcoming 2022 Billboard Music Awards, Walker Hayes announces his new headlining arena tour called Glad You’re Here. The fifteen-city trek will kick off in Johnstown, PA on Sept. 29, with special guest Parmalee and marks Hayes’ first-time headlining arenas after selling out theaters across the country this spring on his 19-city The Fancy Like Tour. Pre-sale begins April 26 at 10 a.m. Local, with tickets on sale on Friday April 29 at 10 a.m. Local. Visit www.walkerhayes.com for more details.

“I can’t believe that we are playing arenas,” says Hayes. “It’s mind blowing how our team is growing, how the crowds are growing, and how the music continues to connect with my audience. I’m just so grateful.”

The new tour gets its name from another first for Hayes, his forthcoming book “Glad You’re Here” written with his best friend, Craig Allen Cooper. Craig will likely sound familiar to fans, as it’s the name of a beloved Hayes song in which he documents the day a pastor he barely knew – Craig – gifted the Hayes family a car during a time of need. It helped the family through one of their toughest moments and led Hayes down his path towards finding hope in Christ. The book is set for release May 3 – pre-order HERE.

Not even a year ago, Hayes released the smash-hit “Fancy Like” which catapulted him into super-stardom. In addition to hitting number one at country radio, the track held the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for over six months, and saw Hayes perform everywhere from the American Music Awards to the halftime show of the AFC Championship game. His follow up “AA,” is currently climbing the radio charts, holding firm on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and recently found Hayes on this year’s ACM Awards and CMT Music Awards performing the hit single.

Now, Hayes takes these songs, plus his deep catalogue of fan favorites like “Don’t Let Her” and “90s Country,” and the RIAA multi-Platinum “You Broke Up With Me,” on the road for his arena headlining Glad You’re Here Tour.

The Glad You’re Here Tour:

MIRANDA LAMBERT TAKES HOME CMT MUSIC AWARD FOR “FEMALE VIDEO OF THE YEAR”

Win for “If I Was a Cowboy,” Directed by Trey Fanjoy, Marks Lambert’s 12th CMT Music Award

“Martina McBride just handed me a buckle, I love that,” shared Female Video of the Year winner Miranda Lambert as she accepted the fan-voted honor at this year’s CMT Music Awards from legend McBride. “I’m so happy to be part of the women in country music today. We are really starting to kick some ass and I’m so excited about it!” The win for “If I Was a Cowboy,” the top 20 and climbing lead single from her forthcoming album Palomino was directed by Lambert’s long-time collaborator Trey Fanjoy and finds the country music superstar subverting gender narratives in the clever and unexpected clip. With a break in the downpour of rain that had drenched Lower Broadway most of the evening, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year took the stage and proved why she holds that title delivering an explosive debut television performance complete with fireworks for the packed crowd.

The win comes the same day the 12-time CMT Music Award winner and Elle King hit No. 1 on both Billboard’s Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck Charts with their GRAMMY-nominated, certified Platinum hit, “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” The track topping the charts this week is the first time a female duet has reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart since Reba McEntire and Linda Davis’ “Does He Love You” in 1993.

Lambert is set to release her eighth studio album Palomino on April 29 via Vanner Records/RCA Records Nashville. With the progressive 15-song album, her first solo project since 2019’s GRAMMY-winning Wildcard (despite a busy interim that included releasing the GRAMMY-nominated collaborative project The Marfa Tapes as well as the Pistol Annies’ celebratory Hell of a Holiday), Lambert has crafted a record that explores the world and the people in it, seeking beauty and adventure all around. Yet even with primarily fictional characters leading the way, the Texan’s own identity emerges lyrically in the second verse of the lead track, out now: I got my own kind of country / Kind of funky.

That signature style will be on full display later this year, when the woman celebrated as “one of this century’s best artists… deeply unafraid to follow her own rules, co-write almost all her own songs, and (lyrically) burn down the occasional house or two” in Rolling Stone’s “The RS Interview,” on stands in the current April issue, heads to Las Vegas for her “Velvet Rodeo.” Tickets to the 24-date Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino residency beginning this September and are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com/MirandaVegas.

In addition to her Las Vegas residency, fans can also hear the new music live when Lambert joins forces with Little Big Town to co-headline this spring’s The Bandwagon Tour, a joint outing produced by Live Nation, featuring The Cadillac Three as support on all dates and visiting 15 cities beginning Friday, May 6 in Houston, Texas.

JOSHUA DYLAN BALIS SHARES NEW SINGLE “WE’RE ON FIRE” ON FRIDAY (4/15)

“We’re On Fire” Is the Title Track From Josh’s Forthcoming Debut Album Of The Same Name, Due Out In May

Pre-save “We’re On Fire” Here: https://orcd.co/wereonfiresingle

Singer/Songwriter Joshua Dylan Balis is sharing new single “We’re On Fire” this Friday (4/15). “We’re On Fire” is the title track from his forthcoming debut album We’re On Fire (State Fair Records), due out on May 13th. With “We’re On Fire,” the rising folk-inspired Rock, singer-songwriter doubles down on the album’s central metaphor, writing about how love and time can alter perspective. Fans can pre-save “We’re On Fire,” ahead of its release on Friday, here: https://orcd.co/wereonfiresingle.

In celebration of the new song, Josh will perform a headlining show at The Basement (1604 8th Ave South, Ste. 330, Nashville, TN) on Friday night (4/15). Opening artists include Lauren Watkins and Reed Gaines. Josh is set to take the stage at 11p.m. The show starts at 9p.m. Doors open at 8p.m. The show is ages 21+. For tickets and more information, visit www.thebasementnashville.com.

“‘We’re On Fire’ is a double entendre, it refers to the lyrics in the song, which deal with the implications of finding purpose in an impermanent world, and with the transformative nature of the times we’re collectively living in. Indeed, we are on fire and the burning question in the background of our lives is ‘what will remain once the ashes have blown away?” shares Josh.

Examining life’s choices and what ignites them, Josh wrote his debut album We’re On Fire, after experiencing his own brush with death, making his way out of his Dallas apartment, after the building caught fire. In the days following that pivotal moment, he fully realized that we’re only given so much time, and like fuel to a fire, time eventually runs out. We’re On Fire details Josh’s transformative journey since then, with eleven self-penned songs that look back on his youth, the people that have come and gone, and what lies ahead.

“We’re On Fire” is the second single release from his debut album We’re On Fire, and follows his previously-released song “Stories,” written as a love letter to friends and family, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZA3hrL6BgU. “Stories” features his father Danny Balis, the co-founder and bassist of the band Bastards Of Soul on bass guitar. Central Track shared the song, saying it “…recalls Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, with a beautiful honesty in his smoke-filled vocals, confident acoustic guitar playing and tasteful harmonica playing.”

Josh is currently signed with Dallas, Texas record label State Fair Records. He grew up in a family of accomplished musicians including his grandmother Evelyn, who was a backup vocalist for Patsy Cline during her Hayride circuit, and his father Danny Balis, the co-owner of the Twilite Lounge music venue (Dallas / Fort Worth) and bassist of the band Bastards of Soul. They will take the stage at The Nashville Palace in remembrance of their dear friend on Tuesday, May 10 at 7 PM to share, celebrate and honor their times with Carson through the years.

“I am so happy that many of Jeff’s friends and peers are coming out to honor his memory and, at the same time, raise money for this charitable cause,” shares Jeff’s wife, Kim Carson. “Jeff would be so thrilled with what we are doing. He loved his country music family and he loved his law enforcement family, so this will be a really special night.”

CAITLYN SMITH RELEASES “DREAMIN’S FREE” FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM

Kicks Off Headlining Tour Tonight in Hometown Minneapolis, Minn.

A week before the release of her forthcoming self-produced third album, High, Monument Records’ acclaimed songstress Caitlyn Smith gives fans another sliver of what’s ahead with “Dreamin’s Free.”

“I spent a good portion of last year searching high and low through my memories and dreams,” shares the Minnesota-native. “I did what any songwriter would do: I turned off all the outside voices and started turning what I found into something that I want to sing.

“This song was born from that place. As an artist, dreaming fuels my life – the risks I choose to take and the art that I create and share with the world.”

Smith collaborated on the ode to big dreamin’ with GRAMMY-award winners Shane McAnally and Lori McKenna:

Yeah, I know that it ain’t been easy
Ain’t got a lot of honey, but we sure got bees
Up to our knees in the weeds and the trouble
‘cause money don’t grow on trees
We can run but wherever we go
Even the freeway gonna take its toll on you and me, baby
We ain’t rich but the dreamin’s free

Kicking things off in her hometown, Smith will begin her headlining The High & Low Tour tonight, at Minneapolis’ famous First Avenue, a former Greyhound bus depot turned iconic rock venue. The show will precede performances at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre on April 6, Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on April 7 and more.

Tickets are available for purchase now at caitlynsmith.com.
