BRETT ELDREDGE ANNOUNCES HEADLINING SONGS ABOUT YOU TOUR

Brett Eldredge is sharing more exciting news today, announcing his upcoming Songs About You Tour and releasing the simmering new track, “Wait Up For Me” (LISTEN HERE), alongside its official music video (WATCH HERE). Eldredge will headline several dates across North America for the tour, including stops in California and New York (full list of dates below). Presale for The Locals fan club begins Tuesday May 17th, before they’re available for general on sale Friday, May 20th at 10am local time.

Featuring his signature vocal clothed only in the sleepless seduction of a grand piano, “Wait Up For Me” was co-written by Eldredge alongside Mark Trussell and Heather Morgan. The intimate song will be included on his forthcoming fifth studio album, Songs About You, due June 17 (PRE-ORDER HERE).

“Mark [Trussell] and I started writing this song by the fireplace in Montana,” Eldredge explained. “He was playing around with some chords on the piano and I just started singing and putting a sexy feel to it. Heather [Morgan] was dealing with some altitude sickness that day and was resting at the time but suddenly she appeared out of nowhere with this amazing line – ‘I’m gonna keep you warm like a furnace in the winter // you can cool me off like a summertime breeze.’ She arose from her slumber and just jumped right in!”

Eldredge “continues with his brand of smooth, easygoing grooves that highlight his endless vocal charisma” (Billboard) on the album’s title track and lead single, “Songs About You” (LISTEN HERE). Written by Eldredge, Jessie Jo Dillon and Ben West, the “jazzy mid-tempo heartbreak anthem” (CMT) is climbing the country radio charts now. The lyrics namecheck lines from classics like Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark,” Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” as Eldredge works through the memories of an old flame, sparked by music he hears throughout the day.

Songs About You will feature 12 songs co-written by Eldredge including the previously released “Want That Back” and “Holy Water.” These latest releases follow his seven country-radio No. 1’s, nine Gold and Platinum-certified singles, two Gold-certified albums, multiple CMA, ACM and CMT Music nominations and wins and most recently, his critically acclaimed fourth studio record, Sunday Drive.

RANDY HOUSER RELEASES “STILL THAT COWBOY”

Vulnerable New Song Follows “Powerful Return” with “Note To Self”

Drenched in intoxicatingly rich pedal steel, country powerhouse Randy Houser releases “Still That Cowboy,” an ode to his wife Tatiana as the couple prepares for their second child together, highlighting the vulnerable side to the man behind the voice Billboard praises is “as captivating as ever.” Listen to the new song HERE.

“The last few years, I had more time to really reflect on what parts of my life mean the most to me,” shares Houser. “I’m grateful to have the opportunity to write songs and perform around the globe doing what I love, but ultimately, my family are my world.”

Written by Houser, Matt Rogers and Josh Hoge, “Still That Cowboy” examines how with time comes change in a marriage – from the honeymoon, to having children, to growing old together – and hoping your partner is still happy they made the choice to build a life with you.

Today’s release follows “Note To Self,” Houser’s first taste of new music since 2019’s critically-acclaimed Magnolia, with MusicRow boasting Houser “remains one of country music’s very finest vocalists. His return is most welcome, especially with such a strong song of regretful hindsight. His extraordinary voice is absolutely fierce as this hair-raising pile driver reaches its climax.”

Houser also released an innovative video for the song, directed by internationally acclaimed cinematographer Jay Christensen and co-directed by Spencer S. Peter, shot in one take entirely by a drone. Filmed in downtown Nashville, the video follows Houser performing solo from Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, across the alley and to the historic stage of Ryman Auditorium where he joins his full band, with Whiskey Riff sharing, “the video perfectly sums up every inspiring country music star’s journey, playing bar to bar on Broadway in hopes of catching the eye of the right people, with ambitions of playing on the Ryman Auditorium stage, the Mother Church of country music.”

The Mississippi-native recently took the stage at the Mother Church, performing to a sold-out crowd in March, as Pollstar lauds “Harkening back to a time when country stars came, played hard and sang truth, Houser’s show spoke more of Merle Haggard’s prime, or Waylon Jennings’ – suggesting an era where songs that contained adult lives were created to give people of a certain age music that held their reality.”

With multiple sold-out shows so far in 2022, Houser wrapped his co-headlining tour with longtime friend Jamey Johnson last month and will head back out this summer for a slew of headlining shows, festival dates and select performances with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cody Johnson and Travis Tritt. For dates, tickets and additional information, visit RandyHouser.com.

About Randy Houser
With an inimitable voice the New York Times describes as “wholly different, thicker and more throbbing, a caldron bubbling over,” Randy Houser racked up three consecutive No. 1 hits and more than four million in singles sales to date with his Stoney Creek Records album, How Country Feels. He topped the charts with the title track, “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and “Goodnight Kiss” (also his first No. 1 as a songwriter) and earned critical acclaim for his powerful delivery of the Top 5 smash and CMA Song of the Year-nominated “Like A Cowboy.” Houser added a fourth No. 1 to his catalogue with “We Went” from his 2016 album, Fired Up. Following 2019’s critically acclaimed Magnolia, Houser’s single “Note To Self,” is available now and climbing the charts at Country radio, with more new music on the horizon in 2022. For more information, go to RandyHouser.com.

Alannah McCready Releases EP, Back To Me – Out Now!

Singer-songwriter Alannah McCready just released a new EP, Back To Me, available on all streaming platforms today. To stream the track, click HERE.
McCready began creating the EP during the pandemic in 2020, pouring her heart into the new music. Wanting to take the EP in a new direction from her previous releases, McCready involved brothers Sterling “David” Gittens Jr. and Will Gittens, who became her sole collaborators on the project. Produced by Sterling “David” Gittens Jr., McCready penned all five tracks on the EP alongside Will Gittens, with Sterling “David” Gittens Jr., also co-writing “Can I Call.”
McCready shared how the project came to fruition, explaining, “The Back To Me EP is the first original project I have released in almost four years, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we have created. From the start, I felt the EP would be in good hands with Will and Sterling. They are two of the most talented people I have ever met and my close friends, so I knew the project would be authentic because they knew me so well.”
The EP features a wide variety of tracks tied together by McCready’s distinct sound, a unique blend of modern country and mainstream pop. Additionally, the project showcases the versatile nature of McCready’s voice with tracks featuring both her rich, powerful notes and her softer, angelic delivery.
Back To Me explores the countless feelings many people experience surrounding a relationship. The tracks focus on themes such as the need for self-love and having high standards in a relationship, experiencing loneliness, the empowering feeling that accompanies finally moving on from a toxic situation, feeling cautious with a new love,  and the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Whether in a thriving relationship, recovering from heartbreak, or any experience in between, McCready offers an honest, fresh take on the ups and downs of love for each and every listener.
McCready explained the inspiration for the EP, saying, “I wanted to make sure the EP had something for everyone in my audience and showcased who I am as an artist and songwriter at this point in my career. I am so proud to say this project includes my go-to girl-power anthem ‘Back To Me,’ an extremely vulnerable, realistic moment in ‘On My Own,’ a feel-good track about the possibilities of love in ‘Take It Slow,’ an honest moment about what I need in a relationship in ‘Something Like That,’ and a relatable song about longing for someone you love called ‘Can I Call.’ I think this entire project is the most vulnerable and relatable my music has ever been. I cannot wait for everyone to hear it and hopefully use it as a soundtrack for situations in their own lives.”
Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Alannah McCready was born near Minneapolis, MN, and has loved a diverse range of music since a very young age. She attended the University of Madison, WI, on a full athletic scholarship for women’s hockey. Her passion for music never left completely, yet her involvement with the college and pro sports worlds did not allow a great deal of time to pursue other interests.
McCready is taking her can-do attitude and confidence learned from playing a primarily male-dominated sport to her music career. She takes her creativity seriously but with a healthy dose of fun and playfulness for her craft.

Paige King Johnson Releases Lyric Video for Latest Single “American Beauty”

Country music singer-songwriter Paige King Johnson’s recently released single “American Beauty” highlights the carefree yet confident feeling of finding your own path. Johnson’s latest lyric video for the upbeat song displays empowered women in movie-reel style clips while the red, white, and blue colors symbolize the liberating sensation of uncertainty. The creative lyrics of not knowing exactly where life will take you but trusting that everything will work out if you stay true to who you are tie in perfectly with the visuals throughout the video. The lyric video for “American Beauty” was premiered by M Music & Musicians Magazine along with a feature on Newsmax, and the single is available to download and stream on all digital platforms!

Listen/stream/buy HERE.

“Putting together the images for the American Beauty lyric video was a fun challenge,” shares Johnson. ”I wanted to get women in all stages & walks of life to show that no matter the circumstance, it’s okay to not know what your next step is. I’ve found, in my own life, that sometimes I just have to lean on my faith & take chances that I wouldn’t normally take on my own. I believe all these women in this video show that same trust in their own way.”

Johnson is excited to host the third annual ‘Country Yard Party’ music festival on Saturday, May 14 in Angier, N.C. With the help of friends and family, Johnson takes the lead in the coordination and production of the festival to deliver a special afternoon of country music and entertainment. Johnson will take the stage to perform some of her original songs, along with fellow North Carolina singer-songwriters Jason Adamo, Brook McBride, and Presley Barker. Join Johnson in her hometown with gates opening at 2:30 PM and music beginning at 4:00 PM.

About Paige King Johnson:
Born in a quiet North Carolina town just 22 miles south of Raleigh, as a young 9-year-old girl, Paige King Johnson spent her summers under the crepe myrtles imitating the styles of Loretta, Patsy, Waylon, and Merle. Having a grandpa as her biggest fan also meant receiving the gift of her first guitar – a baby Taylor – and enrolling in lessons. After her grandpa passed, the bright-eyed dreamer carried on his memory by taking her newfound discovery to local fairs, festivals, and any other stage she was allowed to stand on. As she grew older, Johnson added “opening act” to her resume, supporting chart-topping artists like Scotty McCreery, Neal McCoy, Luke Pell, and James Otto. And with high school graduation came the realization that this was more than a hobby. The Angier native traded in horse pastures and back roads for the bright lights of Music City in 2015. Upon starting school at Belmont University for Music Business, Johnson honed in on the magic that had heavily influenced her as a child: the art of storytelling through songwriting.

The famous Bluebird Café was just one of many writers’ circuits around Nashville that provided a safe space for Johnson to meet other writers, try out new tunes, and get feedback. In return, Johnson began captivating audiences with her down-home stage presence, cut straight to the bone stories, and raw country voice, reminiscent of the classic country era. In the last four years, Johnson has traveled back and forth between Nashville and the Carolinas, playing shows like the North Carolina State Fair and running her dinner theater, Country on the Outskirts of Town, which she founded in high school. Johnson’s quarterly show provides an atmosphere for locals to enjoy Southern cooking, fellowship with friends, and the sounds of classic and current country music with some gospel thrown in. A three-time Carolina Country Music Awards Winner for Female Vocalist of the Year, Country Emerging New Artist, and Tour of the Year, Johnson’s devoted homegrown fan base continues to expand farther than just her backyard.
