CHAS COLLINS HONORS AMERICAN PRIDE IN NEW PATRIOTIC ANTHEM “NO PLACE I’D RATHER BE”

Country artist Chas Collins celebrates faith, freedom, and patriotism in his powerful new single, “No Place I’d Rather Be”, a heartfelt tribute to the American spirit and the land that shaped him. As the nation gears up for Independence Day, Collins’ latest release is striking a chord with country music fans across the country and making waves online — the official music video is now featured in the voting block for Taste of Country’s Top 10 Country Music Videos for the week of June 28.

Anchored in soaring vocals, modern country instrumentation, and a timeless message of gratitude and grit, “No Place I’d Rather Be” captures the heart of small-town America and the values that define it — God, country, and community. Whether it’s played on back porches, radios at the lake, or firework-filled Fourth of July celebrations, the single is already becoming an anthem for summer patriotism.

The song is the latest release from Collins in partnership with The Label Group (Virgin Music).

Just weeks ago, Chas Collins made waves with the emotional single “She Gave Me That Look”, a blues-tinged country ballad praised for its “soulful vocal firepower and emotional storytelling.” The single received glowing media coverage and placed Collins in the national spotlight, emphasizing his ability to deliver both tender vulnerability and rugged authenticity.

About Chas Collins:

Chas Collins is a Southern-born singer-songwriter who has carved out a name in the modern country scene through powerful vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and a strong, authentic stage presence. Standing at 6’6″, he has played over 3,000 live shows across 43 states, earning fans one show at a time with a sound rooted in both his gospel upbringing and honky tonk grit. His breakout single “That’s What She Said” and the Top 10 CMT hit “Try It On” propelled him into the national spotlight, where he’s remained a dynamic and in-demand live performer.

After Hurricane Katrina destroyed everything he owned, Collins moved from Louisiana to Nashville, later enduring the heartbreaking loss of his mother, grandmother, and aunt. Rather than retreat, he poured grief into music, writing songs shaped by resilience, faith, and raw life experience. When COVID-19 halted touring, he doubled down on songwriting, emerging with a refined sound that blends rock edge with country soul. Chas released some of the most personal and powerful material of his career—songs that speak to anyone who’s weathered storms and come out stronger.

CHASE RICE SOUNDTRACKS SUMMER WITH “TWO TONE TRIPPIN’” FEAT. WYATT McCUBBIN, OUT NOW

Just in time for Independence Day cookouts and back-road getaways, Chase Rice delivers “Two Tone Trippin’”– a jangly, guitar-picking joyride that captures the heart of summer and the spirit of a classic American truck. Featuring fellow singer-songwriter Wyatt McCubbin, the nostalgic new single is available everywhere today as the first preview of new music to come later this year.

A feel-good celebration of freedom, young love and the timeless charm of a two-tone pickup, “Two Tone Trippin’” takes a well-worn symbol of Country storytelling and revs it up with fresh detail and classic Country flair. Rice and McCubbin – who cowrote the song with producer Oscar Charles – trade verses like old friends swapping stories on the tailgate, with a toe-tapping arrangement and vivid, boots-on-the-dash imagery.

“Wyatt, Oscar and I were driving around Rollinsville, Colorado, and we kept noticing two-tone trucks everywhere. Oscar finally said, ‘Man, this must be where two-tones go to die.’ Then out of nowhere, he goes, ‘We should write a song called ‘Two Tone Trippin’,’” recalls Rice. “I had just bought a ‘72 two-tone Chevy, so I was all about it. I think we wrote the whole thing in about 45 minutes – no rules, not even a chorus. We just straight up had fun on this one. And everything you hear in the recording – the playing and the singing – was all one take.”

McCubbin – known for penning songs for artists including Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Zach Top, Cody Johnson and more in addition to his own solo career – adds a soulful layer to the track introducing the next chapter in Rice’s career, which promises to further expand his evolution as an artist. More new music is expected later this year, as Rice continues to lean into his roots and the unfiltered storytelling that earned 2024’s independent release Go Down Singin’ widespread critical praise.

American Songwriter celebrated the “introspective authenticity and Rice‘s dedication to change his career narrative from backward ball cap party guy to serious songwriter,” noting that much of the new music “walks the line between traditional Country and Bluegrass,” while Billboard notes it “leans toward rootsier, raw-rock driven sounds, trading party anthems for introspective lyrical themes…. as his voice conveys a crackling warmth of self-reflection and an easy-going comfortableness.”

“Rice’s knack for a good melody is still well intact,” adds Rolling Stone, “but this time it’s used to tell a good story, not fit into a radio algorithm… [Rice] has stopped worrying about where the songs will land, and realized that the best art exists not by trying to get a bloated Number One, nor by trying to adhere to some purist outlaw notion, either. It’s the organic sweet spot in the middle.”

About Chase Rice
With more than 2.6 million albums sold and over 2.8 billion total streams – plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe – Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond. His independent album Go Down Singin’ is available everywhere now following critically acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell, with both brought together on the songwriter-forward Fireside Sessions. Rice’s sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life – from emotional reckoning to time spent traveling solo in his Airstream across the American West. This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better, freer; unbeholden and uninhibited.

The new music builds on the success of his three-part project, The Album, which featured his latest Platinum-certified No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” and the Platinum top 10 single “Lonely If You Are.” His breakthrough came with Lambs & Lions, featuring the 3x Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. That project followed Platinum-certified Ignite the Night, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, spawning a pair of Top 5 hits; Double Platinum “Ready Set Roll” and Platinum-certified “Gonna Wanna Tonight.” In addition to guesting on sold-out stadium shows with Kenny Chesney and Garth Brooks, Rice consistently sells out venues on his own headlining tours across the U.S. and abroad, with the Go Down Singin’ International Tour underway now.

He first planted his roots in Country music as a teen radio DJ at classic Country station Real Roots Radio, broadcast across Ohio. Charles Edward Daniels (1936-2020) was a prolific singer, musician, and songwriter whose career spanned decades. His contributions to Southern rock and progressive country earned him inductions into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame (2002), the Grand Ole Opry (2008), the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum (2009), and the Country Music Hall of Fame (2016).

JENNA PAULETTE AND ASHLEY McBRYDE DUET ON “THE PROPHET (GRANDADDY’S SONG),” OUT NOW

When cowgirl and songstress Jenna Paulette released her sophomore album, Horseback, last September, the 13-track project featured one song in particular that held a special place in the Texan’s heart. “The Prophet (Grandaddy’s Song),” written by Ashley McBryde, Matraca Berg and Lori McKenna, was dedicated to Paulette’s grandfather, and encapsulates the reverence felt toward the patriarch who shaped her life.

Today, Paulette is teaming up with McBryde for a special collaboration version of the track, as the pair release a duet of the song, available everywhere now.

“I grew up in a ranching family on the Texas/Oklahoma line in Thackerville, Oklahoma,” Paulette reflected on her upbringing at her recent Opry appearance, sharing the inspiration behind the song. “I’d be listening to Don Williams, Eddie Arnold and George Strait in my grandad’s ranch truck as we checked cattle, and I just thought to myself, ‘well, if they can sing about what they’re living, maybe I can too.’ That Grandaddy that took me with him to check cows made a huge impact on me.

“This song was sent to me by the A&R from my label, and was written by Ashley McBryde, Matraca Berg and Lori McKenna,” she added. “When it was sent to me, I asked ‘do you think they would mind if I put my grandad into these lyrics?” I thought, I just want to put him all the way in it, and I want my daughter, who is 7 months old, to be able to know my grandaddy because of this song. And they said yes, very graciously. So I put it on my record that came out a month before she was born, and Ashley McBryde actually said yes to putting out a duet version including her own lyrics to this song.”

“The Prophet (Grandaddy’s Song)” was originally released as a solo track on Horseback on Sept. 6, 2024. Upon its release, Paulette remarked that Horseback “is a culmination of perspectives I have of myself—to the things my family instilled in me, the men and women I grew up with and the ones I am blessed to be surrounded by where we live in a small town in West Texas. A window into the way so many of us feel and the things we value.”

Paulette most recently released “How To Make A Cowboy Cry” in April, which coincided with the kickoff of her headlining Horseback Acoustic Tour.

Since November 2024, Paulette has further expanded her brand, teaming up with Ely Cattleman for her women’s rangewear collection, CowboyGirl, and Justin Boots for her recently-launched Sunrise and Sunset Boots collection. Both bridge the gap in women’s fashion, creating apparel that’s both functional and appealing.

About Jenna Paulette:
A CMT Next Women of Country honoree and an Apple Music’s Country Riser, singer-songwriter Jenna Paulette — a cowgirl who came of age amid the gritty realities of ranch life — is part of Nashville’s growing wave of female artists who are rewriting the rules and charting their own paths. Paulette settled in Nashville in 2015, where she struck up a mentorship with Ashley Gorley – a veteran songwriter with 80+ No. 1 tunes under his belt – which ultimately led to her publishing deal with Sea Gayle Music in June 2021. Since collaborating with songwriters Will Bundy, Rhett Akins and Jessie Jo Dillion, as well as opening for Mason Ramsey, Parmalee, John Michael Montgomery, Clay Walker and most recently Aaron Watson, Paulette has landed brand partnerships with Justin Boots, Boot Barn, Ely Cattleman and Ranch Water.

With the arrival of her debut album The Girl I Was in 2023, Grammy.com remarked the project as “transformative,” noting it “fuses the sounds of Twain and Miranda Lambert, tackling mental health with the somber ‘You Ain’t No Cowboy’ and waxing philosophical on ‘Country In The Girl.’” She continued to spotlight her authentic western lifestyle last year, performing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo, making her Grand Ole Opry Debut and performing in multiple festivals including CMA Fest. Paulette recently signed with independent label Leo33. Paulette’s sophomore album, Horseback, is available everywhere now. For more information, visit www.jennapaulette.com.

COLE SWINDELL RELEASED EMOTIONAL NEW SONG “DALE, JR.”

Multi-Platinum-selling superstar and multi–ACM Award-winner Cole Swindell released his highly-anticipated new song, “Dale, Jr.,” June 13 across all digital platforms- in honor of Father’s Day. “Dale, Jr.” will be on his upcoming fifth studio album for Warner Music Nashville, Spanish Moss, scheduled to be released June 27. .

“Dale, Jr.,” written by Cole Swindell, Greylan James and Matt Alderman, is a true story about Cole and Jr. just doing “what missin’ dad son’s do” – connecting on and reminiscing and remembering the memory of their Dads.

“It’s one of the most emotional songs on this album,” said Swindell. “It’s track three, obviously, on purpose as a little nod to Dale, Sr and I don’t think you would expect what you’re about to hear. It’s just a true story. Dale Jr. reached out to me years back when I had, ‘You Should Be Here’ and he said he could relate to the song after the loss of his Dad, Dale, Sr. Obviously, he had never heard of my dad or met him, but it just shows you that people are real people. They’re dads, too. It’s not about what their occupations were. Dale Jr. and I connected over a common bond of loss. ‘We just did what missing dads sons do’ is one of my favorite lines I’ve ever been a part of writing. I hope Dale finds his song as special as I do.”

Swindell has been releasing new music from Spanish Moss, including his new radio single “We Can Always Move On,” the album’s debut No. 1 single “Forever To Me,” as well as the digital-only releases of “Bottom Of It,” “Dirty Dancing,” “We Can Always Move On,” “Spanish Moss,” “Kill A Prayer,” and “One Day” – all of which will be on the new album, Spanish Moss, which will be available on June 27.
