Nu-Blu is thrilled to announce the exclusive premiere of their new music video for “When It Rains She Pours” on Bluegrass Today.

This powerful video provides an intimate and raw look at a life unraveling, revealing the emotional struggle of turning to the bottle as a coping mechanism for heartbreak and disappointment.

Penned by renowned songwriters, Tim Stafford, Kim Williams, Larry Shell, and Dawn Frank, “When It Rains She Pours” paints a vivid picture of a broken relationship where no one walks away unscathed. Though sang by Nu-Blu’s Daniel Routh, the song captures the pain and turmoil of the female perspective, weaving a classic yet fresh tale of love and loss.

“When we first heard this song, it immediately pulled me in,” said Routh. “With songwriters like this behind it, you know it’s going to be good. I told the team we had to cut it! We originally planned to film a video at a later date, but when it became our most-streamed song and climbed the radio charts, we knew we had to act fast.”

In just 48 hours, the band built a set and brought the concept to life, crafting a visual companion that brings the song’s poignant story to even greater heights.
